i don't think it was everyone seems like 80% complaints and 20% satisfied customers

i realy dont see why people are complaining, if u went there last night you should have known exactly wat to expect.. no one should have been suprised

Aww, you make me feel better. I would prolly have only went for the ppl though, just like RJ said. ^5

no I expect the club managers to pay close attention to constant amount of complaints their poorly ran club gets

See, this is true too, and hence why I've never bothered to go out to TIL ever (well, that and I'm not inspired by house DJs). At this, yea, ppl know how shits gonna be, thus why i chose not to go, and they shoudnt either bc thats what they're gonna get and they know it.

but that logic is hard to also swallow when you REALLY badly wanna seee a favourite DJ of yours and it sucks u gotta deal w/ that mess, when u woudlnt if he was booked elsewhere.

i stayed home so i am not realy upset about this... but as i posted earlier i had friends who got told to go home at 1:30 am cuz the club was full!

sure its good that they have a max capacity and dont keep ramming the club. But such disappointments could have been avoided by selling advanced tickets

WOW!

Another great night out at TiL for me!!

Mikey and Sonja are my top stars of the night...for earplugs and saving a lost jacket, respectively (I'm such a moron for losing my stupid coatcheck ticket, lol)

Was in line fairly early, hopped on Lisa's guestlist (thank you!) and got in without too much hassle - it did take some time, but I was mentally prepared for it. Overall our wait was probably the same as a guv wait?

Copeland was outstanding yet again! One of my favourite house djs (internationals included!) at the moment

Sander K was superkickass. Glad that I jumped back on the roll call for this one - worth it!! Dirty house music!
This is LONDON! Wicked
and that around the world tune had me totally rockin out

This is London shot with my phone, while I was jumping around - so you kinda get the 'Blair Witch' thing going on lol.

i would get realy pissed if they booked sasha or digweed at TiL, or even worst if they booked them together there. Big Dj's belong in bigger rooms.. or small rooms but with expensive tickets and a good max capacitty

we are not in their target market, thats all. enough bashing, leave this thread for the reviews

Sander K doesnt deserve drama in his review thread
just like TiL doesnt deserve Sander

moving on now

Overall --- it wasn't a great night, but it wasn't too terrible...

For those who came out, the inevitable occurred...there was a long line-up (I ended up waiting for 2 hours), expensive cover (came in after 11:30), people were turned away due to strict rules, and the club was crowded to the tits (at one point some of us were forced to stay in the upper level b/c the lower level was at capacity)...

Brad Copeland -- I couldn't say much b/c I missed his set But apparently, he put out a great set.

Sander K -- He delivered the goods last night. He kept me going, even when my body wanted to stop...he played his trademark electro house...and progressively got harder with the beats. From watching him spin, it looked like he was on the ball last night, and it was nice to see that he was enjoying every moment spinning for the crowd. He brought good music and a good vibe to the place. The song of the night for me was Kookoo - Jay P & Seb Fontaine remix (rightly so because I went nuts when it was played)

Speaking of the vibe last night, I was pleasantly surprised on how it was...more smiling faces than the "I'm too cool for you" look and it seemed like majority of the crowd was actually into the music (I had crazy danceoffs with random people). However, the air was so thick that I couldn't breathe, and as a result got so tired from dancing for a short period of time

I went to the front of the stage to take some vids and pics of Sander...and at one point when the tightass bouncer wasn't there...I danced a bit on the stage and shook Sander's hand (but if I had my way I would've jumped into his booth ) but later got kicked out...I wanted to get the event poster signed, but it seemed impossible Sander played for 3 hours (obviously had wished for him to play to the end) but it was a good 3 hours of music...

When I first got into the venue I thought or expected that I would bump into any of the TAs...but as the night went on I was glad to meet/dance/chill with several of you You guys (and two of my school buddies that decided to come) definitely made the night bearable

pics and vids will be posted soon

<3 Sander...come back soon and hopefully to some better venue (i.e. CZ...haha...wishful thinking on my part)

btw --- it was nice seeing the TAs that showed up to the premeet dinner...good times

The funny thing is....you probably wouldn't have the same amount of people there for sasha or digweed....it would be busy but the reason Sander was so packed was This is Not Miami.....which has become a commercial hit and is very popular at this moment.

Posted by _EuG_ on Nov-04-2006 17:59:

they do play the miami tune on the radio.. but i dont believe that they advertized this party to the mainstream audiance...

so people had to know by word or mouth or flyers, so im sure it wasnt that bad of a crowd.

p.s. when that miami song came out and i heard it for the first time... i was in LOVE!
