Astral Projection - Dancing Galaxy
Quietman - The Sleeper (Man With No Name Remix)

Astral Projection included Dune samples recently in "The Prophecy".

Psychadelic mind expander is the classic site. Lots of great info.

To be a bit more specific, Dancing Galaxy samples Dune, right? Spice Melange and all that. Same thing goes for Arrakis - The Spice (The artist name is the name of the planet in Dune, the one where the sandworms and the fremen live, while "spice" is a natural resource on Arrakis)

Almost every track by RMB, at least back in the 90s, featured samples from movies. I even remember years ago making thread about their tracks which sampled something.

Remember any specific ones?

If (for example) Spring, Reality, Redemption or Experience has samples from some movies, I'd really want to know/see them.

i forget which version, samples Blade Runner. in fact a whole thread could probably dedicated to tracks that sample or are influenced by Blade Runner. there are probably tons.

pretty sure that's not Blade Runner. It's a Tori Amos sample. Unless there is other samples in the track from Blade Runner...haven't heard it in a while

Actually according to Moby himself, Go doesn't really sample the Laura Palmer theme but he had to recreate the melody from scratch to his '91-'92 remixes as the original score piece was way too slow to be used as it was.

I posted a list of RMB tracks i know are sampling a movie/movies earlier in this thread, go and find my post.

I also have the actual sample dialogues/used samples of each tracks written in a .txt file somewhere, might look for that later.

00db-Lantra --->300

Anyone know the movie in which Young American Primitives used the sample for 'These Waves' (Northern Exposure CD1)? Always curious about that one.

YAP used alot of samples from 1960s TV series and movies in his tracks, including a few Hitchcock movies and several episodes of the Outer Limits series.

The sample in These Waves is from The Outer Limits, an episode called The Man with the Power (1963), spoken by Donald Pleasence.

A couple from my collection:

The Prodigy - Full Throttle (Star Wars Episode 4)
Tekknova - Dancing in Outer Space (The Fifth Element)
