i don't like the tune but certain people do and like i said earlier. when the hype around it was first built after o'bir played it. lvee or someone had a poll on the bonzai forum and lone behold the people wanted it. did lvee release it, no, he just kept it to himself. why the fuck is it need to have yet another check on if people want it. to satisfy lvee's ego. fuck him, and this damn petition. he should have released it 2years ago when people wanted it in the first place.

He's at the very least always good for a laugh...

I love how mad he got at Jon O Bir for playing it as well. Here's a genius idea - If you don't want a 'big' DJ playing your tune out, then don't give it to them. Fat headed wanker.

Well I dont really want this thread descending into the usual immature TA scrapping.

But whether you agree with having to do a petition or not, if it gets the track released in the end then it was worth it. Yes, it should have been released 3 years ago, but better late than never.

If Jon O'Bir played it then it must be pretty decent, I'd be interested to hear the full version. But seriously, was there any need for this whole thing? He knows there is a demand so should just release it or not, not put it up for a public debate. Kinda weird.

But I'll forgive him he's produced some unbelievable music

Comment on the sample

The tune is brilliant. The French lyrics are touching. The effect on the vocals, reverberation seems altered, the vocals sound clearer, but in terms of the sound, it has become less special. The instrumental part is pure bliss, It sounds recent as fook. This is quality that should reach the masses for everyone to enjoy.

Here's what my brain made of the lyrics:

J'ai autant rêvé de toi
pendant des jours, pendant des mois.
Ce ne fût pas si facile parfois,
J'ai si souvant pensé: "C'est pas pour moi."


More emphasis has gone to the vocals, it sounds a little less nice, as the instruments are eager to draw the attention and want to take over practically right after the word, phrase is pronounced. Don't like the delayed echoes.
The instrumentals are so amazing, a pure beauty, must be mindblowing in full quality.

It is just terrific that this tune may hit my ears in quality and in full. This is beautiful worldclass Trance imo.

Some people just like to complain, its a petition thread, you either sign and want it to be released or don't sign it (i.e. don't post - its a petition not a discussion)

As for it being publicity stunt, unless im wrong, surely this is what this site is about? Its to discuss EDM, so whether your polling, discussing, flaming (as a few always seem to have nothing better to do) its publicity, i see this as a site that is full of self-promotion or promotion of others.

Some of you should deal with it, who is bothered if you think someone is hypocritical, at the end of the day you either like the music the artist produces or not, their personal attributes should have nothing do with it surely? Its music not politics.

From the lyrics looks like a really personal song. It was in the middle of his last Progrez episode. Could sound a bit cheesy, but as others have pointed out the production quality is top notch.

Well, I have very good news guys.

Océan d'étoiles will get a digital release at the end of the month, FINALLY.

Thank you guys for your help, and let's hope it gets some sales on the download portals.

Edit: yes some sales, like 10 downloads or something :-), basically because you guys wanted to have this released, you convinced me and you even convinced my label mates who don't like me writing songs, to release some piece of selfish music. And if it doesn't sell, well, you won't see me unhappy either.
