I doubt only gamers will like them, but the price will be no cheaper than intel core2duo, probably twice the price of the extreme chips, overall probably twice what the initial is. But then again, if you want the best you gotta pay up.

Certainly, anyone who has servers to deal with will want some of these chips, plus extreme PC gamers.

# consoles to compete for holiday shoppers

Who will be buying Wii, PS3, or XBOX 360? Do you think the games will suck for these consoles? Because, I've played xbox 360 games, and that was fun.

Yeah, a lot of modern games suck. But things are no different now than they were 15 years ago. For every dozen shitty games that get released today, we get a game like Ninja Gaiden, or Resident Evil 4, or Half-Life 2.
