THat sucks..the Best Buy by my school at 15 units. The one at Yonge and Dundas has 96 units, but i'm sure there line up was huge.

i heard some walmarts got like 22 units. But I guess knowing how many each place had really does us all no good now.

yup! But it's like the Main Best Buy in toronto. It's right downtown and is fairly big too! They are having a 3 day event there to celebrate the PS3 and Wii. Tons of events and stuff!

Wal-mart canada actually released a nationwide list of every single walmart store in Canada, and how many units some where getting. One Walmart was getting 53 units..don't know which one, as it was just a Store #

the guy and his brother that had 5th and 6th place were gettin offered 1500 each for their spot, and they wouldnt give it up..lol

fuck i would have sold my spot instantly

alright thats just plan stupid ... at least imo ... your getting 1500 cash right up front ... why not take that wait 2 weeks then grap a ps3 your still up 700 bucks use that to pick up some games and controlers ... but ah whatever everyone has there perference

I couldn't find it, but i think the minimum was suppose to be 10 per store.

Now, they might not have been all of the supply, as they may have been cut at the last minute, but there have also been lots of people getting screwed by management and employees and stuff like that...so who knows.

walmart employees always screw the store over. I remember when I worked there back when the ps2 came out from the first shipment 8 were stolen ... that what happens when management treats their staff like shit

Yeah..this launch was horrible!

- Employees trying to steal units to sell on ebay.
- People getting robbed while camping out. someone in Conn. got mugged and shot!!
- People paying homeless people to wait in line...

OK WTF...THIS IS NOT FAIR..THERE MUST BE SOMETHING I CAN DO!

So Ive been trying to buy a ps3 online from bestbuy all morning. No Luck.

All of a sudden, bam it took my order. So i was soooo excited.

Then i went through the steps of completing my order.

I entered my credit card number, then i chose expedited shipping, and then i confirmed the final sale.

And then, instead of giving me a confirmation number, i am taken back to my shopping cart. So i was like WTF? I thought, well my transation went through, this is waht is supposed to happen.

Well, i go to check my orders, nothing! No order at all.

So i called best buy and one of the customer service chicks said that, well due to high traffic on the website, my transation droped at the last second when it was supposed to give me the order number.

And then she goes well just try again.

WTF??? TRY AGAIN?? do u know what the chances are of actually getting it again...NONE!!

This is ridiculus...i bought the thing, and now they say i didnt!

ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS ANYTHING I CAN DO? IS THERE WAY THEY CAN CHECK THAT I ACTUALLY WENT THROUGH THE TRANSACTION PROCESS BUT DIDNT END UP GETTIN THE ORDER NUMBER?

honesty dont think there is anything you can do... they usually only charge your cc before shipping, so can't call them and find out if a charge was processed. Best Buy's web site sucks...

There's nothing you can do. Happened to me like 5 times this morning. The reason is, when you start to put in your info and pay for it, the item isn't on "hold" like when you purchase tickets. It's first come first serve...whoever pays first gets it. I wouldn't even bother trying. 100,000s of tousands of people trying to get 10 PS3s every hour? That's just rediculous...

yeSSS!! I JUST GOT ONE FROM BEST BUY!!!

They better now screw me over! I Got my Confirmation and everything!!

My GF got one too!! WOOHOOO!!! Ibiza here I come haha
