Burridge totally still has it. Just because you still like prog, sorry

His Balance comp was awesome.

Yeah, maybe that's why. Do you think progressive house has a future or is it completely dead?

Dead.

And yeah, I saw Burridge two weeks ago play to a tiny crowd outside in Milwaukee, WI - and he absolutely tore my, and everyone else there, face off. I have rarely seen a DJ as on point as him.

The one thing I will say, though, is that I still think a lot of the themes you mention loving in the old Burridge comps is really still a big part of his sound. I don't know if you've just caught him on off nights, but everything I've heard from him even through all the changes the past few years has maintained a lot of the organic, soulful housey stuff, it's just done it with a druggy, wonky twist.

Burridge is the Danny Howells of techno.

What a good bump, though - really a great old set from you, Clovis.

I still have some shrooms that I've been holding on to... perhaps I'll try my hand at this concept at some point soon

Ableton helps, I'm quite sure of it.

Rob, the mix into the last track is amazing.

This is really fucking great. Do you have any more sets like this, from before '07? I absolutely love this kind of music, but it's not often I stumble into something of this caliber.
