Definitely. Didn't want to be shown on camera? Probably because he had a nice Armani suit on.

Quality documentary, kinda puts you off going there though.....it seems as though the drugs are shoved down your throat at bars, clubs, even on the street!

not really. the drugs are there if you want them but i had plenty of nights out where i jsut ignored the africans. in the bars you dont get offered them you have to ask.

theres perception that people have of ibiza which isnt the case when you get there. before i went for the first time i had the impression it was full of english twats but its dead on when you get there and most people are really nice.

We usually go abroad somewhere every year, the typical lads holiday! We've been to Kavos and Faliraki, both were pretty good, although I'm really up for a bit of Ibiza action, purely for the music. It's good to know that the drugs aren't as bad as this film makes out. It'd be a shame to miss out on a trip to the island...

like all documentaries it gets blown out of proportion. i got offered more drugs in benidorm than i did in ibiza. its a great spot for clubbing or chilling out i did both and will be booking next summers in january.

You must be kidding me, drugs are everywhere.. If you walk along the front in san antonio there is a looky looky man every 50 or so yards who will ask you for pills, charlie or hash.. If thats not shoving it down your throat then i don't know what is. I had absolutely no problem getting drugs when i was there, walk out the hotel 100 yards down the road and ask the first african looking guy you see, we got 10 each night we were going out and the guys who were selling had plenty more on them..

The clubs are just as bad with people asking you if you want to buy pills.

You don't get offered any more drugs than you would at a festival in the UK.

can you read. i said the ''the drugs are there if you want them but i had plenty of nights out where i just ignored the africans''

Pretty interesting documentary and sad towards the end. I've never been to Ibiza, but I imagined it was this bad, but never that the drugs came from the UK and that the mafia was so big.
I'm downloading the documentary they mention towards the end: "If Drugs Were Legal". Might be interesting.

I can read perfectly well. you said drugs are not really shoved down your throat. just because you ignore the guys selling them doesn't make it so, they are a constant pest when walking the streets of san antonio.

not really like when you walk past they whisper some shit to you if you walk on they dont run after you they leave you alone. wouldnt call that pestering you. ive never had them shoved down my throat all the times ive been there.

thats pretty damn annoying though you should expect to be able to walk down the street without being asked if you want drugs all the time.

Totally forgot he was in this

The tune the video finishes with is tremendous as well, off the city of god ep that was released a few years back, it's by gui boratto. Now that i've been reminded of it, i'd probably say it's his best tune.

Brandon Block not being off his tits!

Now that would have been something.

so anyone actually been spot checked by the day police? how much is the fine?

yeh i want it!

interesting doco, should call the place 'sin city' it's a cycle though, it's all business. doesn't make it right but you can see why they're not exactly cracking down heavy on the culture. $$$ for everybody, even if it does mean lives are at risk.

Posted by MelonBoy on Dec-01-2006 13:17:

Me got checked, caught and left

the fine is 400 generally, depending of the "possibilities" of being a dealer.

btw, i took my weed with me, and so seemed to know the dealers, no one came to me in a week. Being in san antoni it's quite an achievement

Ps: We spaniards do not hate africans or morrocans or anyone for being dealers. Well, not only for being dealers and not all of us.

Posted by zarathustra on Dec-02-2006 09:05:

Do you think that they flushed all of the drugs down the toilet?

fuck no they must of took them otherwise they wouldnt have been accepted by many of the dealers.

Posted by basvh on Dec-03-2006 22:29:

When I was at Cocoon in the Amnesia people looked funny t me when I used the toilet to actually have a shit. The rest was sniffing their brains out with coke.

Nevertheless Ibiza is a great spot for clubbing, chilling and having fun. However expect to see a lot of drugs, they will not shove it up your throat but they are everywhere. Staying out of San Antonio also helps. Only the UK lads are going there.

Err... There's the biggest concentration of them outside the island, at least that i've seen.

Seriously, been there this last summer and I found not more than 10-15 people from Sanan itself. I was the stranger, even being from Spain.
