threaten to kill yourself.
Get a job, said in about every post here but its the only way unless you win the lottery. I doubt its reallythem not supporting it, its them just not paying for it because you're young.
When I was 16 I got a job at shaws supermarket, making about 70$ a week cause they had so many employees that they gave no hours, so when I turned 18 with the ability to pretty much work at all places, I have 2 jobs, work 7-3pm at my dads auto-body shop then 4-10pm at a clothing store at the local mall...6 days a week.
Only thing my parents have told me they'll pay for is college, because it is school after all, which I took a year off to save up money for my apartment and production and dj gear, as silly as it sounds, its what I want to do in life.
So the morale of my story, if you fucking want it bad enough, go get it and don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it.

I might have worded myself wrong somewhere, I wasn't complaining about people telling him to work, I was telling him that he should get a job to pay for the things he wants.
If I had to wait until I was in college, so I could use my student loans for equipment then you do too.
that sucks. my parents are getting me an efx-1000 and another CDJ-200 for xmas.
now i feel mean.
