as i said tiesto is great. but he still not the best one. if u listen to enigma (genre: new age) u will find that the art of trance sound still can't beat the new age sound. i feel that the newest experimental sound (sound effects) is in the genre called new age.

after listening a lot of trance music, although it has an improvement each time, but still, im a bit depressed. the 8/8 beat all the time, boring repeated melody and the drums, are still too predictable.

That's a bit strong against PVD. You've never seen the appeal in Seven Ways or Perspective? Even if you don't like them personally, it's hard to deny that they're perfectly credible and highly accomplished trance records.

Perhaps saying that "I've never seen the appeal" in Tiesto or PVD is strong, a better way of saying it would probably be that they've never appealed to me personally. I can certainly acknowledge their credibility and accomplishment within the Trance community, it's simply that relatively few (if any) of either Tiesto or PVD sets/productions have ever been my cup of tea.

That being said, I still have my vinyl release of "Words," and will likely never part with it. It was one of the first trance vinyl's I ever owned, and definitely carries a bit of sentimental value with me.

Tiesto has made so many classic tunes over the years. He has also made some crap tunes, but overall his productions have been top notch. As for his sets, there are too many to name. Everytime I've seen him live he has been flawless. He has has had his share of trainwrecks, but overall he is an amazing dj.

A lot of bands, DJ's from a lot of genres I've listened too and still listen to have changed direction in what they do, doesnt mean I ever stopped listening to them if I didnt like what they where doing in a contemporary scene.

Sure, they dont make something you want to listen to, vote with your wallet and buy something else and it's not like youre skint for choice on what to buy either.
There is a lot of music in the world, look on it as a chance to expand your listening variety rather than clutter up messageboards and have a pout.

consider tiesto's depth in the layering of all his tunes, recent work on in search of sunrise and live sets such as sensation 04/05 or cream amnesia and his creativity will become apparent to you. his style seems to me to be completely original and when he makes a good track it's damn good.
