haha...but all to you guys.

I hope that I will be able to keep on partying when I get in my late 20s (without it affecting my life though). Right now I don't ahve too many responsibilities, so I have time to just do whatever..but still...

HAHA... love this commercial!

wow. most of you are older than I thought... maybe cause of all the immature comments on TA lately.

Yep - there are a few of us around here...

I consider myself 'late' with respect to getting into this clubbing scene at 20 yrs old (now 21). I've met sooo many ppl who are my age and claim that they been in the club scene for yrs (I guess first all ages and now 19+).

I can put it another way: I had been out to clubs before I met EDM, but it took until I was 20 yrs old (at Blank and Jones AUG 26 @ guv haha) to actually enjoy myself at a club

and, it is expensive partying in this city...despite having more money now than I did a few years ago, I can't justify spending it at the bar every weekend anymore.

I agree with you strongly on both points.

ha, that's like the opposite for me. as a student i had loads of disposable income and now i have no money even though i make more money than i did as a student. go figure. must be paying back those pesky student loans that does it.

anyways, i am not 27 yet, thank god. (LOL. don't yell at me, people!) but i will be very shortly, and skipper pretty much summed up my feelings on the subject. and to be honest, i find i'm really going back to my indie rock roots this year. i'm pretty bored with clubbing at the moment and want to do other things, and hear other genres of music that i like, not that this is really anything new. that's not to say i don't go out anymore, but there are fewer djs that i will go out of my way to see, and half the time i'd rather just go to bed. again, the old age does that!

Posted by psiico111 on Dec-18-2006 23:25:

I'm 36 and I love partying. I only started this summer though, I was never into EDM before. It seems about 80% of the people are 25 or younger but who cares? When you're in a club and grooving to the music does it really matter how old/young the people around you are? We're all the same age on the dance floor.

Posted by kotsy on Dec-18-2006 23:33:

I'm 23 and I've barely started serious clubbing. Mainly cause I'm tied up working at a club 3 nights a week in Belleville. It's something that's hard to leave, no matter how much partying could be in store.

Posted by ChemEnhanced on Dec-19-2006 00:18:

partying in your thirties is the best.....its not for everyone though. The EDM scene is more open to older partiers. its more about stage of life then age though....if I was 24 and married I wouldn't be going out very often at all...if I had kids I wouldn't be going out at all.

Posted by endless_summer on Dec-19-2006 01:13:

I am 27 and started to be attend EDM events for the past year or so. I certainly don't think my age will stop me from going to events. It could be because I feel I missed out on a lot and have some catching up to do. Electronic music was always one of my favs and somehow I just didn't pursue that interest as much before.

Posted by kwongandy on Dec-19-2006 01:18:

I have no problems being 30 and still "partying." However, I am way more selective about which parties I go to now; I only attend for the music now. I live on two bottles of water each night I go to now. No alcohol, no party favours.

Posted by Orbitus on Dec-19-2006 01:29:

Haha, got most of you beat....(not sure if I should be proud of that) but at 39 I still love to go to the Guv with no end in site, yet.
My theory : Not acting your age = Not looking your age.

Posted by dallastar on Dec-19-2006 01:34:

My anthem is "my girl likes to party all the time, party all the time, party all the time"....Eddie Murphy FTW

I am closer to 30 then 20, but I love to party and have been for over 14 years, I think

Posted by Tunnel Rat on Dec-19-2006 01:44:

If you are there for the music, how can you be faulted if you are older? If you are there to pick up and/or get wasted, then age becomes an issue.....but that stands regardless of your age really.

I'd never think anything bad about someone i saw having a good time no matter what their age. (but I am 32)

Frankly, I don't bother people, and people generally don't bother me.
I'd pose the question, "Partying all night under 23????" Going to (paying for) post-secondary education and trying to pull this shit of half-regular is questionable. Shame on many of you

Posted by Zeidoo on Dec-19-2006 02:15:

Have you been to the Guv. lately?

I swear for Seb Fontaine, there must have been a Japanese Tourist Bus that got *lost* and dropped his load there. Damn, some of them where old enough to be my parents!

That's why I like house/trance music, it's inclusive. Guess I'm lucky, I was the visible minority last Saturday

Thumbs up

29 going on 20, never felt better

You're as young as you feel. Age is just a number.

Moderation is the key.

Definitely....29 here, still lovin it: no stopping in sight

Posted by rubyriva on Dec-19-2006 13:56:

still going at 28, but i didn't start until i was 23.

i don't go to as many parties as i used to because my current location is a big obstacle. a total of 10+ hours in the car for a party is hard. but now i really know what clubs/music i like and will occasionally make the drive to toronto or nyc for a great party (adam beyer @ sudbury!!!).

i don't see myself calling it quits anytime soon.
