Finally took possesion of my copy today..
It was worth the wait..
Tunes, Tunes and more Tunes.. the selection has a very natural flow...
Whatever it is you are doing keep doing it.. it is working.
Val and Vince you did a great job..
I have been meaning to post my review on this ditty for some time now.
The mix is sick- as ive come to expect from these boys, very well thought out and just simply a wicked track selection.
This is Hilary's kind of house and it just makes me very happy!
Excellent work gents, it is obvious that alot of hard work has got you to this point, I predict big things for the future.
will someone be able to post it once they are done giving out the hard copies?
I was on their website downloading the mix. As it was downloading I was browsing the site and read their biography. I just have one question. What is wrong with these guys? Their biography is so utterly cheesey.
Youre addicted to somethingthink about it you are, addicted to the passion, energy and the deep rooted feeling music has, this is what courses through the Vinyl Junkies veins. This is the force which keeps this duo in the deep dark depths of what is known as house music. Toronto natives, Val and Vince unite to form The Vinyl Junkies, a name which catches your eyes as you read it. Their sound can best be described as an ear pounding experience. Whenever these two set behind the decks you never know what to expect. Early 2006 saw the duo on the bill for the X-TEND New Years Event in Toronto, on the card with the likes of Chus&Ceballos, Sean Miller and DJ Lafletche. Most recently the duo closed a sold out show for DJ Tiesto for more than 4000 people @ The Docks. At this time the duo holds residencies at some of the Torontos top nightclubs including, Footwork, Hotel Boutique The Docks, The Guvernment and The Comfort Zone. 2006, also sees the pair exploring the realms of music production and have made a major commitment to focus on this as the year progresses. They currently have a few projects on the go that they look to unleash on the scene in the near future. Keep your ears open for these. The Vinyl Junkies are making an impact so fierce you cant help but notice them within Canadas Dance music community.
Who wrote this?
Not all of the tunes were up my alley, but I loved it. The way the mix flows, one can definitely tell there was a goal in mind when it was put together, and that made it more than a pleasure to listen to. Great work, boys (and thanks for saving Lil and I a copy <3).
