You get:

6 free drinks (to be used before 1am)
Annnnd a bracelet to go upstairs at 2:45AM, no line up... nothing else to pay.

Think about it, on big nights, to go upstairs is at least 30$...

6 drinks is by itself 30$ at least...

so for 30$ u got all that plus freaking nice beat downstairs

so do i only need to be @ stereobar before like midnight to get this or you have to buy pre-sale tickets for that also ?? and is the drink deal applies in this case or you only get no line-up @ 2h45 ??

A) Deal is available @ stereobar until 2 am

B) If you arrive before midnight, you get 6 drinks tickets. They are valid untill 1ham for water, beer, and alcohol drinks*.

C) You also get a bracelet who gives you access to the main room from 2h45 am

D) Of course, it covers the entrance @ stereobar and it also gives you access to After8 from 8 am.

*details @ stereobar

Sure, it's fast and trancey which a lot of you guys aren't gonna like, but I'd say Lawrence is easily one of the best.

Make sure to pack a lunchbox full of pills.

What are you talking about - I think the lack of fast music is why the scene is so crappy now. Bring on the fast and trancy and hard techno and we could postentially revive the scene.

Dumbass !!

Trance sucks? What do you like? Slow boring house music. You know in the beginning of the rave scene it was only trance and techno. House music is for commercial people.

Ok. It's not that what Alex said was right, but what you're saying here is nonsense as well.

Please just re-read what you wrote.

Revive the "rave" scene maybe...

Maybe there's a reason people don't want 140+ bpm music in clubs and events anymore...

Personally, I think it's because people don't do drugs the same way (or the same drugs) as they did 5 years ago. And the fact that commercial trance has gone down the tube with boring music that all sounds the same (ASOT).

It's just as bad as commercial house now from artists like Guetta or Sinclar.

(it just so happens that the drug of choice for commercial house is legally available: alchohol)

Posted by Scot on Jan-28-2007 20:29:

LOLZ

Trance started the rave scene where exactly?

I know Manchester was one of the first cities worldwide to have a thriving "rave" scene back in the early 80s and it was shitty indie rock bands making ass records and the DJs that were playing this stuff that had the "rave scene" going, also E helped quite a bit!

You should go watch 24 hour party people!

PS: Trance still sucks

Why else would the big name douchefaces like Armin/Ferry/Schulz be branching out towards prog house, electro and other stuff instead of the traditional DJ fluff - Puffy Cloud (Birds flying in a cool breeze over the sparkling ocean remix) kinda stuff?

makes me laugh to see people on a trance forum say trance suck... how do they end up here?

And humm birds flying in a cool breeze over the sparkling ocean is a good way to relax after a night of partying or just waking up in the morning...

and psytrance... come on, that is freaking awesome too

Posted by Scot on Jan-28-2007 20:41:

Psy-trance?

COME ON MAN!

I went through that phase 3 years ago

Psy-Trance is extremely annoying. I KNOW greg is gonna bust in with 900 producers/djs that make awesome psy-trance and will make me go back on my word, but ya, Psy-Trance is for ninnies with pockets filled with pills.

(And purses full too cause all people that listen to psytrance are cross-dressers)

well you for sure have stereotypes.

I aint a cross dresser

I dont have my pockets full of pills.

I aint a newbie to the freaking scene.

Yet i still like to listen to psy trance there and there. And yes i still get my days where i put a good happy hardcore set. Taste doesnt only stop to one kind of music my friend. And to generalize a type of people to a kind of music only proves you are closed minded. Its like saying all girls that listens to hip hop are sluts or that all guys that listen to rap are gangsta.

And i can already hear marcus quote me on the hip hop: " They arent sluts? " hahahahah

To answer your question, which is very easy, its because this other stuff is in, dj's want to maintain their status so they play wtv is hot, thats what djs (or at least all the big ones) do to maintain their position,

And to say trance sucks is being ignorant, most of the people that are in the EDM scene has listened to trance ....

You think people jump right into minimal house or artists like Nic Fanciulli, house is just an evolution in the EDM scene, everyone takes steps in listening to different types of generes

I love house now....before i hated it, its just steps that ppl take sooner or later...trance doesnt suck cause you in particlur stopped listening to it, theres thousands of people just getting into the scene now, so stop the hating

And ya, i'll give you that the 'Birds flying in a cool breeze over the sparkling ocean' shit is not that in anymore, trance also did evolve as well...look at artists like Sander van Doorn..hes trance, but not that soft stuff

just open your mind and remember the evolution of the EDM scene
