please explain. according to your definiton of a good producer = one who works alot. I do not agree on that.

where did i say quality means quantity--or vice versa?
never, since its not the case

Do you even know what your opinion is anymore? Every time you write something you contradict your previous response.

and where did I say similar sounds = creativity?

you asked why Sean Tyas is getting alot of work. I've already answered that.

on the flip side - (brought up in another thread) music is subjective to the listener. so everyone has a right to like/dislike a certain thing and definitely has the right to give their opinion about it. freedom of speech baby - only good thing about US... that and hot rich girls that blow me off on a nightly basis.

My opinion doesn't/shouldn't mater any more than his. I simply said he was a waste of time because of the childish reply ("If you don't like it then go cry"). Not once did I say his opinion is wrong. Hell, I didn't even state 'my opinion' at any point in time.

He implied that because Tyas gets large numbers of people to come see him that this means he's not a 'cancer' upon the industry - all I did was point out that quantity isn't synonomous with quality.

Leave the guy be, he's not killing the scene, and I'm sure his influence won't amount to much.

I checked his website and he sounds like a bit of a kid anyway; taking digs at electro house in his bio and then listing a set of 'fakes' in his discography. "this is fake its not a remix its a REWORK." Yeah, no-one cares. You shouldn't be allowed to throw the word "rework" around as an excuse for adding fuck all to a remix - anyone with the file harderkick.wav on their computer can do that.

I seriously don't think it's a problem because he's not original or professional enough to get very far; he's just having a bit of fun and it probably won't last long.

It's funny, for someone like me, deeply involved in my music scene, Sean Tyas and his pursuits have no effect on me. In fact the most I hear about him is you people bitching about him.

His footprint is small.

Same, but that's damn funny.

look regardless of all the crap in this thread and me contributing to it.
it's as simple as this - David West > Sean Tyas

any f*cking day of the week.

the end.

good night.

santa just f*cked your mom while you were sleeping...

this is always the case. People say we're "hating" if we 'bash' the artist, but they never have an intelligent response. They can't say anything other than an insult because anything else would be a blatant lie. come back when you've found some real trance

im sure your opinion (which ur entitled to) is making the scene better... HAHAHAHAH
look how dead the scene looks, what a shame those 7000 people had to suffer with sean--HAHA--

LOL

I was at that party (for Laidback Luke, not the trance), capacity is like 3800 and the crowd doesnt care whos playing, 99% of those people are on hard drugs, they wont be able to tell the difference if sean tyas played, or if a 4 year old played As The Rush Comes over and over for 2 hours

That's cold :P

Posted by Tayfoon on Dec-25-2006 12:41:

But true

For the record, every time i passed by the trance stage as he was playing it sounded like the same hard shit as the ones before him were playing and the ones after

Enough said.
