250,000 and I happily kill everyone in that video. I'll even kill anyone who buys that track too.

Why the hell would god tell someone anything anyway?

Posted by Vlad on Jan-03-2007 16:39:

Well, Jews also think God punished Sharon for giving land away. But this is just a belief, not a conversation with God. lol

These Christians are out of their minds.

God spoke to me and said that I will lay a fart that could make plants yellow.

Because He's too shy to open up the skies and say "I'm God, lol".

i don't have time to sit here and write about it because its late and i'm going to bed but do the research, the dates in the bible match up with archeological findings, for example Pontius Pilate who turned Jesus over to the Jews was a Roman leader that was not historicaly know about except for in the Bible until later discoveries of his name on coins were found...much of Roman history and Hellenistic history can also be read in the writings of the Apocrypha which although are not biblical books they are valid sources of historical research written by "religious" authors.

lol - The article you linked me to as much as says the Bible is not historically accurate, but rather has events that can be directly correlated to other events in history.

The definition you have of what constitutes a valid historical source is off by a mile m8. The Bible is one of the most biased books in human history, whose content has been twisted and contorted through the lens of a subjective historical experience for over 2000 years.

Neither. The world is overdue for another dramatic man-made act of terrorism. The terrorists aren't getting enough front-page coverage, so they got to whore themselves again for attention. Unfortunately, it's at our expense

I'll tell you this much, it'll be a far sight more impressive than if this asshole claims some random terrorist attack or natural disaster fulfills his "prophecy."

As far as natural disasters... sh!t happens. No one can tell anyone "I told you so", unless human intervention has occured, in one form or another. Anyone who predicts (far in advance) a major natural disaster, is just lucky, and an attention whore.

I predict that we will get snow this year.

So basically your only point is that you think it's likely there will be a terrorist attack in the U.S. at some point this year?

How exactly is the world overdue ? I would like to know the acceptable frequency of occurrence then. And by the world, do you mean your country ? Because terrorist attacks happen all the time in other parts of the world.

The planning of such large scale attacks cannot not go unnoticed. Even during 09/11, it was alleged that there were ample clues that suggested something nasty was up for happening. With the intelligence and security agencies in the western world being extra vigilant after 09/11, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the terrorists to carry out such attacks. Not that they are impossible. People like Pat Robertson are already having visions of "mass killings". But hardly are such incidents "overdue". They will happen when the terrorists manage to outsmart the authorities. But when this will happen is any body's guess.

And about the whole religion thing; I never have understood the attempt to organize the infinite.

This Pat Robertson guy sounds as cracked out as our own Xenocreator.

Posted by Arbiter on Jan-04-2007 00:24:

What I find most amusing about this is that it doesn't seem consistent with the "free will" doctrine that religious nutbags always use to defend the fact that this sort of thing even happens.

I mean, if the terrorists have free will... then they still have the ability to call off whatever plans they might or might not be making. So God can't really know whether or not they're going to go through with it, much less tell anybody.

In order for God to know, it would have to already be determined, in which case the terrorists don't have free will and sole responsibility for the attacks is God's.

Posted by MrJiveBoJingles on Jan-04-2007 00:27:

It's fundie religion. Using logic is blasphemous.

+1 and this made me laugh:
