hopefully at this years version of E3 (whatever it ends up being...im well aware that E3 itself is dead), we at least hear directly from Sony what they plan on doing for the next addition to the PSP enterprise. some of those tidpits you posted, DA, are just heartstopping. cant wait to hear more!!!
In other PSP news, games coming soon include:
Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars (SEGA)
Tomb Raider: Anniversary Collection (Eidos)
Silent Hill: Origins (KONAMI)
Madden NFL '08 (EA Sports)
Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles (KONAMI)
Hadn't used this thread for a while so here goes.
New PSP Slim!

Model PSP2001
pros ![]()
slightly faster loading time thanks to additional on board memory
33% lighter
Slim design
Now supports video output (cable not included)
IR sensor from top of system was removed due to lack of functionality
UMD drawer is less complicated
cons ![]()
Most accessories for the old PSP (model PSP1001), such as the wired remote control won't work/fit due to body re-design.
That's about my only complaint about the new PSP. Other than that it's pretty badass.

(or when I find out some more shit
)
Shitty on the incompatibility, but I guess thats something we all have to live with when it comes to upgrades on current hardware.
One of my buddy's was probably the only person in this country that actually owned an iLink for his PS2 (basically a link cable for linking multiple PS2's...only a few games used it though), and yet when the slim PS2 was released, the iLink was no longer supported. It's all part of the game I guess.
