Of late, some of the grandpas on this forum have also become a bit too annoying. 
it's not our fault if you're trying too hard.
When I joined, it had 2 things, 1 was to be very respectful to people & get to know them, and al ot of people still do that, but a lot don't. As mentioned before, some people will target established members for a power-imposing type start, but not many succeed. Some people have joined ta & fit straight in, and that's definitely the way to be. Don't not try, but don't be a tryhard either.

Im a n00b here, but not when it comes to forums in general.
As far as forum etiquette goes, I can handle myself...Im almost a 10,000 post member at another forum, so I know how it works on forums.
I dont want to be clubbed in with n00bs who want to gain attention by "attacking older members", as mentioned before. I just come here looking to find new recomendations and get feedback on my stuff.
I dont even know anyone here.
