one thing i dont like about trunks, is that if you sit for a 3 hour lecture, they get stuck to you and its not very confortable.

I can't believe you actually made a thread about this, RJ.

You can actually get what I might as well call speedo trunks... they're the same cut as trunks but made of some mixture of nylon and spandex. Those are fun. You wouldn't believe how comfortable they can be.

(No, I'm not talking about swim trunks - they're for day-to-day wear)

That's just too fancy, Digi.

These were the trunks that lost The Apprentice team the task.

Trump doesn't understand the appeal. He is so behind the times.

I take Trump's dismissal of the trunks as a personal insult.

I died laughing on that segment of the show! It would have gone better had pink not been chosen and the flowery pattern. That's too feminine for a product launch.

When you launch an innovative product, you must start with a few innovative features, and as the public accepts them, you bring on the bells and whistles. Launching product like this not only helps with society's acceptance, but keeps them interested and buying continuously once it's doing well on the market.

In other words, you can't shoot your wad like that.

He should have started with commonly accepted male colours and patterns, instead of going straight to 'I am confident with my sexuality' pink flowers.

would be ironic to make fun of the colour when he is himself wearing a pink tie

true, but tight swim trunks are hardly a new product. i just found trump's dealing with the whole thing, terribly behind the times. muscle monkeys have been wearing these since the 70s. it made it sound that these were just discovered this year.

Society has accepted pink ties, as well as recently, pink shirts.

Their task was to make as many sales as possible to the buyers. Those buyers also have the intent on selling volumes of these as well. They didn't know who they were selling to, or even who's line of clothing they were representing. The goal was more for a mass market than a niche market, thus they failed.

I know they've been around since the 70s, but I still won't buy a banana hammock.

It's great to be innovative, but one must start by giving people a taste of an idea, rather than the full package (no pun intended).

i totally agree with you. it shouldn't have been pink flowers, i didn't even like the pattern. if they were all pink, they probably would have won. the difference in sales was so marginal 19000 vs 20000. they hardly failed, they just lost that task. it's trump's attitude towards the whole thing that pissed me off.

Thank you grammar police. Trump can be as different as he wants to be, because he can, so that's not contrary to what's expected.
