Like I'm fairly sure I mentioned, theres no law there to stop private interests from monopolising it inside the country, which is essentially what has happened and people are fed the same line from the same source which has very close ties to the government and hence, no objectivity.

But even with laws like that in place it still happens. Faux news and the Bush administration anyone?

Well excuse me for such a bad knowledge of English language, but I didn't find any of your posts mention that.

But since you've made me curious again I'd like to continue our conversation and ask what kind of laws against a monopoly in media industry do you have in the US or Australia?

There a many TV stations in Russia, who are part of Networks and essentially one and the same, especially when the three largest of those networks are owned by Putin's mates.
See now, they don't even have to give kickbacks during their terms, shoot or expel anyone for re-election advertising, its all there for free.

I got bored of this a long time ago and cant really be bothered with it anymore, besides youre more interested in bashing the US for its failings lately and thats another flogged out and dull subject.

Australian media ownership laws
