The tone of my post was totally intentional.

There are many people here who run different forums and such, but that does not mean that other members are less qualifed. The West Coast section pretty much runs itself. There is nothing overbearing that a "new" mod would not be able to handle.

No, what i meant just because you mod other forums doesn't mean that you are the most "qualified" to run this one. Pretty much anybody with a good attitude is qualified here.

we should be flattered that he sees us as ... responsible enough to be modless.

I see it as we are the forum that moved away from mommy and daddy's house and we're on our own now.

A lot of us read here but don't post unless there's a thread of interest.

Grant lives in Washington and most of the threads here are focused on California. He's been a major contributor in threads that were reaching out to all of the west coast TAs though or in threads that featured events he could attend.

Well, the Pacific Northwest has it's own forum/website so I assume this would have more Seattle-ites and PDX folk if that site didn't exist.

Us nor-westerners have a good hold on the CORe, though. Drama from Nou, Orbax & WWU, humor from Masonious, and OurManFlint, getfoul, medinam5 and myself holding up the rear.

I post some whenever there's an event worth posting here. I posted the Diggers/MSTRKRFT in Portland the other day, and I'll probably post the one for Kinetic II in a few days. Other than that, there's nothing really worthy of being posted here until I'm able to access the good stuff (see: 21+). Oddly enough, the Western Canada section gets more threads for our shows than we do.

we had a great thing goin for a while oct-dec at element.

krafty kuts, adam freeland, nick warren, marco v, darude, ferry corsten. it was goin off for a while.


orb, just remember. We're all here waiting for daft punk to come back.
