if you're looking for a change and know CATIA, you're almost guaranteed a job at where I work.

I'm a Sourcing Analyst at an international mining company called Rio Tinto. I do some purchasing and also run reverse auctions and bids for suppliers to quote and submit proposals for whatever the business units need (in Canada there's Quebec Iron and Titanium, Iron Ore Company of Canada and Diavik Diamond Mines).

some cool careers in here, not bad for a bunch of crackheads

I deal with Ministerial correspondence (editing, writing) as well as the coordination of Access to information requests for the gov't dept I work for. 'Also do some freelance writing on the side.. but I've been wasting too much time on TA to get that part going though

I have a feeling some people stretched the truth a little here.. hehe
some funny answers though!

As for myself... I've worked my way up the ladder in my 10 years with a mid-size telcom company.. but I am quitting on February 15th to move overseas! I'll likely end up working in an office for a bit but ultimately my goal is the launch my own business.
