He�s been called 'The Mozart of Techno sound' and he defines his musical inspiration as a human need, like eating and sleeping. Yes, we�re talking about Mauro Picotto.

Last Saturday he received the award as Best International DJ at the Dutch Nokia TMF Awards, which means another important celebration for this eclectic Italian DJ and producer.

Mauro is also the Italian A&R of the BXR label and he produces and mixes under a number of different pseudonyms: CRW, Megamind, RAF, Claxixx and Taub as well as Mauro Picotto. He tries to find the difficult balance between very specialist, underground techno and trance to more 'crossover' productions.

He also recently won the award as 'Best International DJ' in Switzerland, Danimarca, Ireland and Spain.

Well, I don't have audiogalaxy, but if u can find the Inner City set, that's a great one. Also u can download his set from LA at this site (under March 16)

that one was weird it has a part fromt he southpark movie and the cali track i think is the vinyl cause is a bit diffrent from the album version.

Yeah for sure...I go almost every Saturday night except when I go to Afterhours. As for Aria. It a wicked club but it just doesn't do it for me. Something about the crowd I don't really like, I actually prefer Sona.
