"No," I am wrong? Or, "no" to getting your own culture?

... Both, but mainly the first one.

DEMI BUCHANAN, 13, of Birmingham, who is of mixed race, held the sign saying Half Breed an insult against people half of one race and half another. She says:
Sometimes mums wouldnt let their children play with me and I think it was because of my colour. One of my friends mums told her that white people should stick together. I felt angry and upset when I heard that.

Wth, she looked pretty white to me.

When did racial distinction ever make sense?

Chavs are working class?
"Help! Help! We're being oppressed for wearing tracksuits and sneakers and hanging out at shopping malls when we should be at school!"

Life is so hard for some...

No they were counted by some tw*t journalist called Julie Burchill as working class in a documentary that insulted quite a lot of the population of the UK with links to the working classes.

In general most Chav's don't work so peasant underclass would suffice. Chav's in a way are classless I know of some very well off people who are some of the most chavvy people I've met.

We call them 'Cashed up Bogans' here, theyre basically sort of the tail end of inherited money, 3rd-4th gen removed from someone that actually had money once. Or, they 'happen' across money from dodgy building industry contracts, doing up fake licences for things and general fraud.

I know girls who have come from a really successful rich background, gone to the best schools you name it. Then a few years later their all donned up in burberry got three kids and live in a council house.

I wouldn't really say dodgy building contracts. I know quite a lot of people from the industry who own good reputable building companies however their very chavvy.

The majority of chav's are at the bottom of the financial ladder and most of them are poor but you do get ones with money. It's a classless thing in my opinion

Dunno

Ok, can someone please elaborate more on the "Pikey" reference? Is this a term isolated to those who live in South London? And since when did being a traveller take such a deragatory meaning? I'm still trying to understand this one.
