It's wrong. I wouldn't want it done to me, therefore I wouldn't do it.

On the contrary. This is a very interesting thread and I completely agree with the author...

To many people, having sex equals being in love, but not all. Also, I've noticed there is a difference in how Americans approach this topic vs. Europeans. People in North America seem to have very idealistic, romantic view of sex and relationships, while Europeans are much more pragmatic. I know for a fact that many wives in Germany send their husbands to prostitutes (BTW completely legal in Europe) when they're "not in the mood".

i dont think this statement is fully true and i would add the fact it seems pretty common in north america to have a fuck buddy or at least no one is looking like "wtf"?

dont get me wrong im sure some ppl disapprove the idea but here it's not something people tend to do

what the hell is the point of being in a relationship if you're going to sleep with other people?

So when you come home from banging your piece on the side, you can bitch to your significant other about what a lousy fuck your other piece is?

banging and fucking pieces...

what an unpleasant way to phrase sex.

yes there is a difference between emotional/nonemotional sex.

if you've had both, why would you choose the nonemotional sex? don't try to tell me you think it's better...

Posted by Zoso on Jan-31-2007 20:06:

Sorry, I was attempting to be facetious. I fail.

I've had both and I would tend to agree that generally sex is better with someone you genuinely care about. That is not to say that it isn't good with someone you don't give a rats ass about... that can be very good as well. That said, quality of sex has little or nothing to do with why people have sex outside of their relationships.

Hm there's a specific word for this, where one loves many at once and stays committed to them... I forgot, read an article on something like this a while ago.

Well if they sleep with someone who has the HIV then I'd see that as a big problem.

Even if they didnt have the hiv, I'd be pissed their hittin my girl. And I'm not speaking of women as objects, but shit if I'm with a girl her body is mine and mine hers(within reason of course). I don't want anyone messin with my cookie jar damnit.

So you think sleeping with someone or maybe relationships are made to claim someone? Marking your territory?
