armin and rank 1 do NOT play the same. he comes here to LA quite often and i have seen/hung out with him many times. he plays different. harder. a little bit of eletro in there too. ask DA. he knows what im talking about.

the one time i have seen him i really liked his set even though it was a super short 1hr set.

Agreed. And yes, Rank 1 and Armin have different styles. Armin is more on the proggy side while Rank 1 is more electro, as gehzumteufel said, along with energetic and vocal trance.

Had a chance to check out the venue last night and it is top notch. Great lighting, layout and the sound was amazing. Whoever set up the sound knows what they are doing. Only issue was the fire alarm went off in the middle of DT's set and took out most of the speakers with it for about 10 minutes.
