we should fundraise for like... 10 years or something. and have a TA commercial in the super bowl... xeno can do the creatives.

I'm shocked. Budweiser usually has really good ones.

All the Coke commercials were oldies that have been circulating on the internet for quite some time.

The snickers commercial made me lol.

the bud light commercial with the axe/chainsaw made me lol harder...c'mon Inconspicuous, the chainsaw part was the funniest part!

and i noticed the almost complete and utter lack of movie trailers. i mean, there were a few, but usually the super bowl is a big time for the summer's movies to get advertised. i was expecting some spiderman and shrek to sneak in there.

Honda
Anheuser Busch
Coca Cola
Garmin
General Motors
Motorola

Any company with millions of dollars to spend for a commercial is worth a look for investment opportunities.

Those are just some that made the commercials. I said they were worth a look; never said invest in them.

Just within the auto industry, for 2006:

8th - Innovation
8th - Employee talent
7th - Use of corporate assets
6th - Social responsibility
7th - Quality of management
10th - Financial soundness
10th - Long-term investment
8th - Quality of products/services

...out of 10 companies

according to Fortune.

not saying that's all the spot-on truth, but being the worst in your industry for Financial soundness & long-term investment doesn't speak volumes of praise for your company.

[there's your look...don't touch GM with a ten-foot pole.]

Posted by winston on Feb-05-2007 14:58:

GM needs to get their game on, ASAP. I'm still getting ready for that "Oops, we're bankrupt" announcement.

The only one I remember that made me laugh a lot was the Budlite commercial with the couple driving in the car and he wanted to pick up the hitch hiker because he had budlite and his girlfriend is like, but he has an AX! and hes like, now now, Im sure theres a reason for it

lol

I missed the rock paper scissors one, my cousin keeps talking about it.

Posted by trunks1022 on Feb-05-2007 16:51:

the bud "dalmatian" ad was good.
rock paper scissors definitely my favorite.
what would carlos do? and carlos mencia teaching the english class were great.
career builder had a funny set of commercials last night

garmin ad SUCKED. my friends and i were sitting there wondering what the hell the ad was for until i saw the garmin at the end.

sierra mist combover was disgusting

if you missed any ads, go to

Posted by denys envy on Feb-05-2007 17:47:

Posted by bas on Feb-05-2007 17:58:

"Promotion Pit: was soooo funny, "You don't even work here! You're just a delivery guy!"
