Thats right, ure not Djquick enough to do it like i do. LOL. Oh, but when u do upload it, please do it on youtube and not some random FTP. Its a waste to download a clip only to realize u had no desire to see it cause it wasnt a track u liked. Thanx.

LOL, I was just talkin to Big Mike about that. Everytime he wears a T-shirt, he throws down like he did when he was wearing a T-shirt back in the day. When he wears a dress shirt, he throws a shitty set and isnt as into it. I guess hes more comfortable in the T-shirt and can work better at the decks.

Vids... I have longer ones but I don't know a site that will let me post over 100mb per clip.

Again, not the greatest but good enough for me.

anybody know the name of a song he played twice with some old school pianos, kind of similar to danny oliveira's drop it your love... that was the track f the night for me

as someone said already in this board from 2:30 5:00 i do not have a clue what happened as i was completely carried away by the music, that part of the se took me all the way to the twilo days

overall 10/10 night without taking into consideration the long line and can of sardines inside!!!

Third time is a charm, before last night I never understood all the PvD hype because I have never really enjoyed any of his sets but last night PvD was !!! He didn't really spin a single track I didn't like, the energy in the club was great, and most importantly they didn't oversell the place. I got there at 12L30 planned to leave at ~3, but by ~5 I had to force myself to leave because I had to be at my internship 4 hours later. I was a zombie all day but it was so worth it !

Mike, Andrew, Daphna, Joey, Brian & AJ good seeing you guys and for anyone else I might have seen/talked to...hi

I was so excited =). Paul didn't skip a beat from the very beginning. As soon as I heard Mindcircus i knew last nights set was going to be unbelievable. Last night was finally that PVD we'd all been waiting for and i'm so glad It happened. It was one of those nights that will always put a smile on your face whenever it comes up in conversation. Just like a PVD Roxy night

I haven't been to crobar in a year and it was nice to see they finally spent some dime and upgraded the lights. I was thoroughly impressed. Especially with the smog and the plane lasers. Quite Trippy.

Lambda - New York
Scumfrog - Another Fucking Love Song
Kuffdam and Plant - Dream Makers vs ATRC

I have a bunch of vids i'm going to youtube. I'm glad everyone had a great time.

best track all night was Constellation - Thomas Bronzwaer, that track makes we wanna jump outta my skin!

haha figured as much, after a night like that the recall is a slow and painful process.

Posted by kingchinc on Feb-18-2007 02:59:

any one else notice that he dropped about 4-5 diff pitches of Life less Ordinary?

Posted by twillo on Feb-18-2007 08:16:

Kickass set!! PvD knew he had to make up for his horrible last set at Roseland, and he KILLED IT!!

Managed to take some vids during the madness.

track ID's are appreciated!

I had SUCH a great time @ PvD! He definitely did play a great set; lots of classic goodies & rockin beats mixed with fresh & funky tunes. Newbies, oldies and everything in between but without the usual suspects. He kept the energy & mood at a nice level all night, occasionally lowering it slightly & allowing a moment of rest. Then with the ease & precision of a skilled DJ, he'd drive it right back up to an even greater level of intensity.

Aside from a couple of vodka redbulls, I was sober all night but I never got bored or tired. I stayed until the very end (around 7am?) and for the first time in a looooooong time I left the club 100% satisfied. The music was great, the vibe was phenomenal, EVERYTHING was so positive. Pauls set was exactly what I needed and it brought me back to the good ole PvD-whoring days.

There are a lot of notable highlights/moments throughout the night but I do have to agree with Lyss about Holding on To Nothing. We were all singing along and grinning like idiots. I LOVE those moments! Synaesthesia and Mindcircus were awesome as well. I definitely had my cell in the air for a few tracks so I could leave random, distorted messages on the voicemail of absentee PvD whores.

Seeing so many old school peeps and having so many of my friends together in one place made an already memorable night even more unforgettable. Fortunately, we were able to get most of our crew together in the penalty box (or is it bullpen?) so we didnt have any temperature or space issues. The sound was on point and I had no trouble getting through the crowd/around the club. The night was virtually issue-free! What more could I ask for?

Hes still got it, kids. Paul van Dyk truly has something special. No other DJ has ever impacted me in such a profound way. Ok, ok, I am not going to cheese this post to death. Simply put, PvD knows how to drop one hell of a set and Made Event knows how to throw one hell of a party. Combine the two and you get one hell of a good time - and that is exactly what happened on Friday

---

And now for the appreciation & acknowledgments lol
