Really Jon, I don't know if anything can beat Jay's Montreal story. That shit was straight out of a Tarantino flick.

| Originally posted by jon jon Not to be a TOTAL dick, and I'm sure you have ultra crazy stories to share, but so far your "crazy" stories have been: (1) the Freedom rafters guy at KH, there is probably 28 pages of posts on that night already (2) you getting your car towed (3) some montreal "crazyness" Natalie and RJ have stories that would make your brain implode. In fact RJ has a killer Guv mainroom one (remember, what this thread is about) involving frizbee tossing a record to Oakenfold in the upper booth. bahah |
I and several other Guv fanatics have posted on a thread on the Guv board, as well as the old Luvtheguv and GuvCrew boards... I'll see what I can dig up.
In the meantime, allow me to add a little nostalgia with the addition of this picture;

| Originally posted by Abercrombie Yeah, I was a member. Did meet them a long time ago, and haven't seen em in years actually. I hung out more with the luvtheguvers more. Jenny, I saw your pic with Dannielle M a month or so ago... I was going to say something. |

No specific order...
1. Erick Morillo, Boxing Day 1998.
So amazing to hear Fly Life (Extra) by Basement Jaxx.
2. Sasha & Digweed, Canada Day 1999.
Spoke to Sasha for a bit, and heard Diggers drop Cassidy - Implode.
3. Oakenfold & Max Graham; can't remember the date.
Hearing Barraka - Song to a Siren and a whole bunch of Max Graham productions, and AmoebaAssassin - Piledriver???
----------------------------------------------
jonjon is right about Chem's - Africa being played, but I can't remember if that was the same party?!?!

No Stories for now but my three Main Room Parties
1. Lisa Lashes 2006
2. Carl Cox 2005
3. Lawler and Sasha
Shit, when I have time, I'll do my best to remember the very best top three with stories...as I've been there prolly like 1/12 of my waking life it seems.
...and that might be a challenge. lol

Like a number of others around here, I am a total noob in this scene (or nooblar as Nada crowned me last summer
).
The greatest night ever for me in the main room was Blank and Jones Aug 26 2006. It was the first event I had ever attended. I went down with really great people and had the time of my life. If anyone wants to grasp just how incredible it was for me, dig up the review I wrote.
By the end of this summer I'll definitely have more than only a handful of events to choose from as my favourite.
As for the KH, SvD fall 2006 wins hands down.
