very cool read.

god the TTC sucks in comparison...city planners and all levels of gov't fucked up large in Toronto

no rapid transit to the airport...no line running along the bottom of the city...no line running north to York or to join the 905...nothing running far enough east.

and it doesn't run 24 hours.

and many stations look like horror movie sets.

fuck...compare what is our most 'impressive' hub, Union Station, to some of those incredible pics...*wow*

PATHETIC

Unless you're planning on spending your vacation in the subway, go to St. Petersburg instead.

how quick you are to judge, i just said its classy and ill check it out when i goto moscow. I have no intentions of living on a subway, like any other normal person.

wasn't obvious that he meant that St. Petersburg > Moscow?

anyway, either way, I think they're both worth visiting

Oy. I was joking, you fool. Obviously you weren't going to live in a subway. I was just commenting that architecturally-wise, St. Petersburg blows Moscow (and a good majority of other European cities) out of the water, but I'm heavily biased because it is my hometown afterall.

Gdansk, Poland

That's actually Warsaw, not Gdansk. And it's not better than the TTC...not yet, at least. Give it another 7-10 years, once they get their second line up and running.
