Amen to that. Had to deal with quite a few of those kinda tools yesterday. Not fun at all. Makes me wish I had a Steyr TMP mounted on my side rear-view mirror.

I'm sick of living in Buffalo. Granted school's almost over, but damnit!

I'm sick of the fact that every time I want to see my friends and dance my ass off at a real club, I have to drive 100 miles. The drive up isn't that bad cuz I have soo much to look forward to when I get there, but the drive home suuuuuuuucks.

Posted by DannyPINK on Mar-03-2007 15:00:

And damnit! Stop fucking snowing already!

don't correct my spelling. I use British way of spelling.
Last time I checked, we were still under British rule.

What do you expect for diginut anyway? he's probably the type that goes into starbucks asking for organic coffee.

It is a generalization. Some have to work their asses off as they have to pay their way without the rents' help. Very admirable on their dedication.

In my experience, my University years WERE some of the best years of my life, and so much easier than out in the real career world. I work my ass off more than I ever did as my sallary goes up, but as you work longer in a company (10yrs for me), you get longer paid vacations and better pay, to make some balance in your life and compensate for what you go through during the week.

University should be hard, as it prepares you for the greater life difficulties that lie ahead.

Yeah but man...
I have three papers due this week, one of them on ancient greek culture. Have you ever tried to understand ancient greek culture? Seriously, it is tough shit! Totally different language, pottery is important and shit, it blows your mind.
And thats not counting the 2 midterms that are in 3 weeks that i need to start hi-lighting my notes for, and i have to do a shift at my part time job tonight. I mean, usually 3 hour shifts i don't find to be too long, but when i have lots of schoolwork too, they drag on FOREVER!

Thanks, I will!

I also think my undergrad was some of the best years of my life. Tough, yes. Did I pay for it one my own? yes. But TRY GOING TO GRAD SCHOOL (in the STATES, which is more expensive!) and doing the work then! NOTHING like undergrad..... its 100% work and you def cant go out every night like you used to. I have a hard time going out once a week with my work load/internship and job (ie: Coming to toronto a few weeks ago has officially made my life hell since then trying to catch up! ......I officially stopped liking school then.

I dont feel sorry for myself because I will be getting PAID but people beed to STFU about the asusmptions they place on other peoples lives!! Its seriously ammoying.

very good point

personally the best time of my life was secondary school, when I lived at home, had my classes, went out on Fridays, and the only worry of my life was my O'levels and A'levels

I've taken about 5 courses on Ancient Greek Philosophy so I know what you're talking about.

Fixed... the rest of what you said does not really bother me.

Very interesting how some people interpreted my comment.

I don't think I said "I'm sick of students because they... etc.". I said I'm sick of students who do that. And a bunch of people got defensive and said I was generalizing. Hmm.

Shanny: it's different if you're studying and trying to hold down a part-time job (assuming it's more than a few hours a week). That's a totally different ballgame.

Guys, I studied electrical engineering. I spent nearly 80 hours a week doing school-related shit in my final year. That's two full-time jobs. I didn't bitch.
