She's the second from the right, the best looking one

Barato!

This is about the music YOU live for...

(and no raptors are killing it this year.. but moving right along..back on TRACK..)

I'm just saying...

Stop the judgement, stop the hate, stop the dream.. stop as MUCH BS as we can...

and make this scene, the love and the passion for the MUSIC.. grow...

evolve.

it is possible, is it not?

Or has this site been infested with too many assholes, too many dramatizers, too much trash...

that TOTA is just a joke, not about the music.. but about seeing who can be the "coolest' behind a screen?

My memory's definitely going. I always remembered it as only 3 wives, but it was even more. Well done lucky bastard!

i do live for this music. and one thing's for sure...no bashing or judgement or hate could stop that.

i guess in the end, thats why i dont let the lame toronto ta's get to me. they have their opinions and i think theyre usually pathetic.

typically, i listen to beats i love, while laughing at the total dumb fucks that posts utter stupidness on ta

to all the other tota's/ta's that push, love and live this music....i salute u

Montreal,

thank you. Last night was appreciated and will never be forgotten...

I have many TOTA friends that I love and adore and have had the pleasure of meeting almost all the MTLTA's about 2 yrs ago now (except for the newer ones) and LOVE them just as much. Some of them have grown to be very good friends of mine that I admire and trust just as much as you guys at home Dave. I know exactly where you are coming from with this. But I do have love on both sides

I miss you ******s in Mtl.. lol

You left me out? Fuck you Eric!

Nah, I kid. I deserve it, since I hardly post anymore. Eric rocks. And you know what? You Montreal TAs are alright too. I haven't been there much, but the ones I've met have always shown us a good time. In spite of this thread, I don't have a bad word to say.

Truthfully, though? The drama on TOTA today is nothing. I miss the drama of old.

Jenn,

Exactly my point, the way you are in a club and act and enjoy the music... travelling to amsterdam (that's a passion...!) it's what's needed, yes, Toronto TA's have passion... there is just WAY too much drama, childishness, judging, bs.. and not enough of the music.. the atmosphere... that "connection" that music lovers have.

I love the passion people have for the music, i enjoy reading reviews and hearing people's opinions of DJ's be it a favorite of mine or not. I just think there is room for a lot of improvement here and it would be wicked to see us take a step back, look at another scene... appreciate, evolve.. grow.

learn from one another,

leave the bad.

take the good.

sure, we could leave it as it is... but why? if you can make it better, happier, more passionate.. if you can feel it more, why not try to?

Posted by dj_souvlaki on Mar-03-2007 23:19:

i haven't met that many ta's but from what i've seen yes they are soo much better than the toronto ta's. i find them alot more open and more of a pleasure to be around

barely complain, they dont bitch and whine about the smallest things. they aren't in the scene just to be seen.

like its night and day difference.

As a Montrealer living in Toronto for the last 10+ years... The cities and people are different. Vive la diffrence. There will always be differences. Each city has its strengths and weeknesses. I can go on for pages about Montreal's negatives. But I don't air mon linge sale, and I can speak with unarguable facts about Montreal's hidden secrets. I'll keep that to myself, that's something I'd speak in private though.

humm... was nice to meet you last night David...

Posted by zokissima on Mar-04-2007 03:51:

I hate to jump on the bandwagon, since I've had some great times with ppl from TO. However, I've met strangers and friends in Montreal, and people are always far more outgoing, far more open, far more chatty. I remember several occasions where I'd stay 'till the closing hours, with only a handful of people left on the floor. Music stopped, everyone looked at one another, high-fives, hugs, greetings and goodbyes...all from COMPLETE STRANGERS. Awesome times.
