well footy is back, the game yesterday, richmond had no excuses, we made way too many mistakes, and after being 26pts up we should have buried them, ah wells, on another note essendon looked great! as did the roos (very unlucky), hawthorn were pityful as was richmond, and probably along with richmond, brisbane will struggle to get out of the top 4.

my tips sucked ass this week, 3 out of 8

nothing went to plan round 1, lots of upsets and Dean Cox pulling out of the game on Saturday meant i had no Cpt and sub for DT.

richmond didn't suck they just got run over the top of. The period of about 3-4 minutes in the second quarter where they put through three goals was very positive. Pinpoint disposal and lots of people presenting, they just got too tired and the started to make the same mistakes as last year. Was a great game though, the twilight concept worked really well 59,800 at the G last night and I was home by about 8pm.

essendon still made heaps of stupid mistakes against adelaide but i suppose they are to be expected in round 1. what impressed me most was the defensive pressure and tackling that was present for the entire game. our youngsters have stepped up in a big way. paddy ryder is going to be an absolute gun.

a shocking game by my mob. i cant understand why they dont look forward and kick more direct after taking a mark.

i think this playing on at all costs has made everyone turn sideways and look for the handball rather then looking up the ground.

a fired up melbourne team next week on easter monday, and our first game at the G, bring it!

what is with this led/lighht type bill boards behind the goals? went to the swans/west coast game last weekend and all you could see of goal mouth action was silouhets(sp?) of the players. Won't be going to another game until that gets sorted out.

haha kel, twas a good game, i wasnt that cut, our young boys showed something, its just our experienced players that are playing like crap.

Good win by the hawks yesterday, melbourne are fkd, too many injuries now will cost them dearly

hmm dream team is making a slow start...
already had to make a few changes, i think i should pay more attention to which players are actually starting in the games
used 3 trades already, need to make 3 more but only have 1 left this round
