haha my life is great north dakota is meh beats the fuck out of houston thats for sure but doesnt compare to canada however its nice being able to take an hour drive and be in canada. but werd if you want to strike it up as me just being mad at life knock yourself out. only point im making is that you take shit way to seriously considering its coming from a online thread whose members number probly rivals most places you live in numbers. incoherrant i mite be unconstructed complete disreguard for all grammer indeed hell spelling is even worse but hey atleast i dont whine about how shitty my life is and go omgz why hasnt anyone posted anything yet so i can get fucking attention? not saying the thread starter did this but just stating. btw eat some drugs and stfu

I can't see how OCD, which is a strange psychiatric condition, affects your sexuality either (both of these disorders are probably based on a "central executive" pre-frontal lobe problem...). With Tourette, i don't know but it can't affect your sexuality directly as well. In a matter of fact, neither of these disorders can directly affect your sexuality. All of them can cause some more or less serious motor and cognitive problems, but they are not known to affect directly strong affective/emotional/physiological states such as sexual attraction. Maybe your problem is purely psycho-social though rather then psycho-biological. Maybe because you know that you have these disorders you feel "sick" and deteriorated, possibly anxious and so less motivated and even with less self-esteem towards you and therefore to the persons of the opposite sex. These are factors which can minimise your sexuality, and because your sexuality is decreased, then you have less interest to sexualy-related behaviours which further decrease your sexuality (sexual thinking) etc etc etcand hence you are caught a in feedback-loop. Thats my thought.

i think he CHOOSES to be asexual as not to pass his OMG DEFORMITY to another generation. why he doesn't fuck someone in the mouth i don't know.

ADHD can increase a person's distractibility when it comes to a class, but not when he/she is having sex though. There are people with severe frontal damage who have a problem called "dysexecutive syndrome". DS can vary in type and severity, but you can imagine it as ADHD but only 1000 times more severe. DS patients show severe distractibility, disinhibition (innability to inhibit inapropriate behaviours and thoughts),impulsivenes and hence severe problems in social responses and on the overall organisation of their behaviour.DS patients show what it is called "the default function of the brain". What is this? Its the pattern of behaviour that various animals, human children and people with frontal problems problems exhibit (people or animals that in one way or another don't have "good" pre-frontal lobes). "Grasp and act on the first think that enters consciousness and attention and don't care about other ones, no matter their importance on a specific context" (children's instant gratification and their inability to pay attention to the fact that their mother can't provide it all the time).

As a result, people are continuously bombadred with information that enters their awareness, causing an "attentional" mess in their minds. Despite that, the default function doesn't affect primitive psychophysiological activities such as sex though. In a matter of fact, a lot of the default function of DS patients is a continuous instant gratification for sex! The same with ADHD. In fact, a possible ADHD symptom is impulsive sexuality!

Yea, but i think that this is his own excuse for him. Its a normal psycho-social mechanism, what it is known as the basic "attributional" bias. People would tend to attribute success to themselves (to an "internal locus of control") and failure to others or environmental factors (to an "external focus of control" anyone remembers adam and eve and the apple?). Its probably a thinking pattern which is invariant, global and hence evolved. Its evolutionary advantage is obvious, people would in a way "attack themselves" if they were attributing failure to themselves all the time.

I think that in the current case, the threadstarter attributes his problem to an external factor that he thinks he has no control over (to the hereditary impact of his problems) rather then to himself, to his own thoughts and behaviour. In this way, he denies responsibility for his psychological problem, and frees himself from considerable stress. The problem is that by doing this, he doesn't see that his problem may be a result of his own thoughts and behaviour rather then of the disorders and everything that accompanies them.As you said, his "excuse" is not very strong.
