I agree...we'd all go to see him in a heartbeat...but THEN you know what after his last visit here in May 06, the huge diversity of serious DUMBASSES in the crowd really will make me think twice with attending his shows in the future. Whats up with that song on myspace "In the Dark" OMG its the fucking Backstreet Boy of TRANCE!

yeah that song sucks. most of his recent songs are ruined by the vocals. the original in the dark is gay, the remixes are also gay....just because of the homosexual sounding vocals. lol backstreet boy trance.....that reminds me...pvd made a remix of justin timberlake but at least he made it sound good and it didnt suck.

Anything post 2004 is crap, but i think that when he realized he is the second coming of christ.

ya, agreed, although he did have a great set from Hieneken Music hall in 2005. That was a good set imo.

That set was good, but compared to sets from other DJs in that period, it was pretty forgetable...

I think everyone was just amazed that Tiesto actually pulled off his first half decent, solid, long set in awhile...

i hope youre not talking about what goes around comes back around or whatever its called. first of all, its a very bad production especially cause pvd did it. u would expect so much more from him but not lately. also, i dont know if u noticed if it sounds any similar to life less ordinary by rank 1. the best remix for that justin timberlake song is by junkie xl.

Posted by bucke on Mar-22-2007 16:07:

i disagree i really liked the track and what he did with the vocals, and the whole dark industrial feeling of it. i really wasn't impressed by the junkie xl remix either again ruined by the vocals.....and the rest of the remixes were basically pop dance garbage. i don't think it sounds anything like life less ordinary by rank 1....more along the lines of dj choose-lucite...which is another track pvd plays a lot, and a great track imo.

Life Less Ordinary ain't shit.

Some people think it is, and those are opinions you might need to accept

I am proud to report that my hard drive is officially Tiesto-free... (aside from some of his tracks that may have crept up into some sets)

I know you're all stoked about his world tour, personally - I'm more about Tiesto Product line:

- Tiesto 100% sound isolating ear plugs (essential for those times when he stumbles on the sage and begins to spin)

- Tiesto Vitamins - all essentials: from vitamins L S D to E.

- Tiesto Sunshades, J.C. edition. Put them on and see Tiesto do a Jesus pose - every time and everywhere! Don't leave home without it.

- Tiesto "Traffic" - LA Traffic early warning system

and my personal favorite:

- Tiesto "in my memory" Toilet Paper with Tiesto's image printed on it.

Ok so I listened to it again just now just to make sure I stand with my current opinion.

And I do, but what I didn't mean to say it's a shitty track, it's not that bad, but it ain't anything special.

I dunno about 'pretty forgettable' in comparison, but I would agree in that the last time before (and unfortunately after) he pulled off a good set had been too long!

I would argue the essential mix from 05 was better, but still nothing compared to pre '04

FAKE!

What kinda inhumane bastards would pick D4L or EOL as their top tracks!?

Posted by mar46017 on Mar-26-2007 07:49:
