yeah I took it from wiki. But this looks like a discrete time equation because the values are represented over "n" and not "t". I think discrete equations exist only over integers, because "n" represents the nth sampled instant. inv (n) in the last part will imply a value over a fraction. Besides delta could very well represent discriminant if this is some sort of matrix equation.

now youre beyond my knowledge of maths and physics. thios one becomes too difficult for me .
i know (quite) some equation representations, which i learned in my education program (master in Mechanical Engineering, 5th year now), but this 1 .. is too hard. i recognize some parts, but its too hard for me understand it very good. i've never been good at such things. but i cant hand you some other equations which are quite impressive (too)

i just finished my M.S in mechanical engineering.
