I'm from holland and I voted Holland because I just love 'our' trance-music, but I think Germany and England are great Trance Nations too.

Lol! What the hell are you talking about. Those parties suck compared to Innercity, Trance Energy, Qontact etc. And do we have some world famous dj's? Nah don't think so. Some are more knowed than others, but noone is world famous.

couldnt agree more with you =P

even though i live in norway, i have to admit that it suxxx here =P

the parties here = either mainstream dj's or sucky dj's or hardhouse dj's (a define these as sucky, since they dont got a clue of what real music is )

to the norwegian guy who wrote that norway should have a spot in the poll..

futuredome = suxx0rz (80% said that picotto played TOO hard.. LOL, seems like 80% of the "party ppl" in norway dont even know what kind of music the dj's they are paying 50$ to listen too/dancing too,are playing.. lol)
hyperstate = mostly main stream (dj jean, klubbheads LOL)
temple of love = who have heard of this ????

Well, many of you who worship Ferry and Tiesto seem to think that Holland is the greatest trance nation. There was a time when I, just like you, thought so too. However, being an epic/uplifting fan myself, I can tell you that you're missing out on SO MANY other great trance hits, and plus Holland's DJs are becoming progressive...

I think the greatest Trance Nation is GERMANY

I firmly believe that GERMANY, and not Holland, will save melodic/uplifting Trance. The music of DJ's like Tiesto and Ferry is becoming boring, unfortunately they're being influenced by the West (namely the UK: Oakenfold, etc.). I haven't heard anything outstanding from Holland recently.

But German trance is amazing! Have you heard the Tunnel Trance Force (TTF) series, packed to the maximum with SO MANY beautiful and exciting tracks I bet you've never even heard of???

Maybe back in 99 Holland was the trance nation, for a year... But I think in terms of producers, as well as DJ's (Talla, Taucher, etc.) Germany is the best - for epic trance, that is.

Totally agree with you blue_neon - I think that Holland dominates the uplifting scene ... but they can't do prog compared to the brits, and the Italians and Germans are the boys if you want your trance hard and fast.

However I like uplifting the most so I'll go with the pack and say Holland.
