oh man, what a b-day, couldnt have asked for anything better, lawler fuckin killed it.

i found a nice corner with tons of room and fun people and didnt move from there.

now this chick really really pissed me off, not once but twice, i dont know who the fuck she thinks she is, but she needs a fuckin attitude adjustment.
firstly she told me too move from her so called vip area with her friends coz they paid like so many odd hundred dollars to be there and i only paid $20 to get into the club, its not like i was trying to invade their space, i just didnt realise that i crossed an invisible line separating the "special" people from the common folk, there are better ways of asking someone to move.
then secondly i was downstairs dancing and she comes into my space and crashes into me and i asked her nicely to move over and she looks at me like im retarded and says "NO!", so i was like fuck it, ill move.

who ever you are, if you read these boards, please learn to be polite to people. the world does not revolve around you.

other then that it was a wicked night.

Hibernation is officially over. And what a way to end it! Lawler is always a good time. I think the biggest reason is the lawler crowd. Almost all of my favourite people were out.

Lots of hot chicks, lots of stinky guys, but lots of friends indeed. A night like this makes it hard to stay home.

Love is in the air

Amazing night.. The music was just fantastic.. I can't believe he just kept going!! (although I'm pretty sure it was 5:30 when they turned the lights on and kicked us out haha) We just couldn't cheer him into anymore...
The only thing that was kinda crappy was how busy it was.. but that was expected.. and for those who haven't been to TiL before, the crowd is normally really really great.. there was a lot more pushing and rude people on friday.. but that might've been because there were a lot of new people just there for lawler.. I'd say don't write the place off just yet, give it another chance sometime, cause its amazing!

Oh wait.. something else also sucked.. THE SNOW... I mean seriously.. could've done without that.. but whatever.. as tired and as cold as I was when I had to go get the go train home.. (boooooo) it was all worth it.. I love sticking it out to the end (so many people did this time too).. amazing amazing amazing...

Nice running into you, apologies for not recognizing you initially, it was that crazy hair.

Posted by rulzz on Mar-19-2007 01:21:

the chick

even if its just a verbal slap along the lines of "piss off cun*t"

Posted by Endlesswave on Mar-19-2007 01:23:

That's the thing with that place, if you ignore stuff like that and just party it up you can still meet some cool people in there and have a wicked time w your friends. Just the law of averages I guess.

Posted by Jem_hadar on Mar-19-2007 01:23:

BAKI LIVES!

I wish I could have attended this party solely bc he was there... and it was his bday of course

Posted by rulzz on Mar-19-2007 01:24:

I keep on hearing people say he played until 6:30...maybe your clocks still need to be re-adjusted as it was 5:30 when the lights came on. And with that, it was 4 hours of that Lawler sound...so many good tracks, so little time.

Posted by MKpacha on Mar-19-2007 20:28:

he played till 630.

i left @ 5
sling stayed till @ least 6

No.

Last track was around 5:20-5:30, lights on and Lawler out the door...I dropped my friend off at her place around 6 and arrived to my other friend's place a little after 6:30.

p.s. I'm not one to argue on the internet, especially about inane things like when a party ended...but ya know.

I thought Lawler was better last night than his New Years day set. He was tighter and for a good 30-40 mins in the middle he fucking had that place by the balls. Just slammed that room! However, I could have done without the 6 (count them 6!) repeat tracks!

Hugs n'kisses into aftermath was a bit redundant, but 6 tracks in a set 3 months later, not that big of a deal. I can't imagine that its easy to find tunes that fit your sound at such a high frequency that you can completely rework sets in 3 months.

AMAZING night, couldn't ask for more. lawler simply killed it. best night ever, musically.

some of the tunes i remember he played:

jamie jones - panic tool (intro track)
pryda - aftermath
lifelike and kris menace - discopolis(tune of the night for me i was in heaven! he played this towards the end, timing was perfect)
audion - mouth to mouth
criss source - hugs n kisses
sexy back
nathan fake - outhouse (valentino kanzyani remix)
oscar and stereofreak - gipfeltreffen
andrew - sombatiki
plastik - plastik (alex dolby plastik vision mix)
joris voorn - mpx 309

It was his first encore, and I could be wrong, but I think Kris Menace might be "Lifelike", like a "Kris Menace presents..." type of thing.
