i have a question.
what do transformers run on?
gasoline?
do they have souls?
if one mangled by an ICBM missile, can they be put together 50 years later after all the nuts and bolts are picked up?
if you hit a transformer with an EMP, can the internal computer components simply be replaced to create a new "soul" in the transformers body?

Somehow I think a modern, cartoonish Transformers movie would've worked better than this.

I think it'll be somewhat interesting but too much like Terminator 3 meets Transformers meets cheesy lines meets excessive hype.

Awesome release date. I mean, TOTALLY BADASS!!!

Now on our holiday called "the fourth of Jul-ahh", I can inebriate myself on piss-poor, cheaply-brewed, all-American BUDWEISER BEER after a few rousing rounds of celebratory EXPLOSIVES DETONATION coupled with songs celebrating how great it is to have the freedom to celebrate the greatest country in the universe AND THEN I can go see The Island by Michael Bay in the ALL-AMERICAN movie theater. Err, I mean THE TRANSFORMERS - The Island was the one with the hyped up car chase scenes and familiar action shots pertaining to a handsome lead character and his socially "beautiful" breeding property.

Mah bahd.

OMWOW! I just saw the trailer on T.V. & it looks like it's going to be really good!!

I hope they don't fuk anything up since it won't be cartoonish

The whole Spark thing originated from Beast Wars. Energon is just an energy source from the original series that they needed in order to power there spaceships and such.
