if you make 100 million dollars, that means you're already giving away 45-50 million dollars in taxes--you're making more of a contribution than several thousand other people are. I'd say that's more than enough.

Nobody's saying this guy should be fucked over or even be obligated to contribute, only that he's a fucking scumball selfish prick who, if it were a perfect world, should think about being more generous and charitable with his cash.

and therein lies the problem. The main issue nowadays is not that the tax percentages are so incredibly out of whack as it is that 150,000 isn't what it was when that standard was put into place, nor are the rest of the levels of income. What they need to do is bump up the levels that people get taxed at--not shift the already skewed percentage increases.

When you reach a certain high level income you get taxed 75% or so ....
"Stealing" from the rich does not encourage local economies to grow to the top.

the real problem here is that our govenment is in debt and wotn quit spending more than it has to. then we go to war and spend even more. we are then left pennyless while still trying to have a viable economy.
