You know what I discovered for Sunday brunch after the Guv?

Sushi Island on College. Quality all you can eat sushi. Normally I don't feel like eating anything, but sushi seemed to have gone down easy, and the soy sauce/wasabi mix seems to get that next day fur off the tongue. Plus the food gives healthy energy needed the next day.

Blend it all up and you get 1L of the most killer breakfast shake you can get.

Im going to give this a try. Seems like a good change from my current breakfast for the past 2 weeks:

2 cups milk
1 and half scoops whey protein (chocolate)
1 tsp fiber boost
2 bananas

and blend

I dont care what they say about sliced bread , the greatest invention of all time has to be the blender

LOL! You think that two loaves of bread for breakfast is a small meal?

It's amazing that you two don't throw a steak dinner in a blender, add some milk and eggs, and eat the result for dinner. I just don't understand some people.

whats not to understand. I gym (so thats where the whey comes in) and wake up as late as I possibly can in order to make it to work on time so its either shower or hearty breakfast for me and this just provides a quick healthy fix.

Its not that I dont crave my sausages and eggs but 30 extra minutes of sleep seems to take priority.

Posted by latinangel on Apr-19-2007 08:19:

I usually just have coffee.

Posted by geroin on Apr-19-2007 08:24:

nothing

7 egg whites everyday is ridiculous..
having a yolk is good too soemtimes, its not JUST high in cholesterol and thats it. Yolk is good for digestion and all that jazz, having a couple would not hurt..

Super Great IDEA!!! Will try after Armin this weekend.

i'm gonna have to go ahead and agree with that.... for some reason i feel like i could stomach sushi on a sketchy sunday..... this could just be because i'm STARVING right now and haven't had sushi in a good two months though.... Maybe I too will attempt this after Armin this weekend

but usually i don't eat breakfast at all

Posted by JPinCanada on Apr-19-2007 10:42:

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so they say. I agree for the most part and therefore have a well rounded meal.

Usually:

A Bowl of corn flakes w/ raisins or cranberries w/ Lactose free 1% Milk
1 cup of fruit salad (I usually prepare this on Mondays and Wednesdays after work so Im not rushed in the AM)
Some Vitamins and Mineral supplements
1 Protein Shake (1 Scoop Protein, 1 Part Milk, 1 Part Water, Banana)

Im good to go with this sort of combination for a few hours.

I rotate the cereal with Craisin Bran Cereal, unless someone is cooking breaky in the morning than Im totally into eggs and Turkey/Chicken BaconMmmm Good!!!

You think McPigs would come out with a Turkey/Chicken Bacon combinationswhatever!

If I remember to have breakfast.. usually Raisin Bran (hey, it keeps my regular :P) with the optional apple and/or Orange Juice.

Posted by VolumE_TO on Apr-19-2007 10:49:

now that i have all these good breakfast visions dancing through my head... it's a good thing the caf opens in 15 minutes

too bad they don't have sushi until lunchtime

I usually eat let overs if I can.

Nothing better than dinner food in the morning. Curry anybody?

Thinking cereal and milk right about now sounds good. Maybe then a muffin with cheese or jam and a banana to end it off.

Posted by VolumE_TO on Apr-19-2007 12:29:

i'm eating a sausage & egg bagel with homefries from the caf right now....

glorious
