Yeah! Hawkzone was an awesome site!! Definitely the biggest influence in my trance listening...also a major part in getting me addicted
I was really sad when I found Hawkzone no longer worked...but luckily I kept the bookmark!! For boy was I happy when one day I clicked on the link in boredom & found a new place - Hawkzone vs. MeetTechno...yay, bliss again. Well, sadly that good thing came to an end , but we must move on and adapt to change...just lucky that I found TrancEaddict!!
I'm surprised actually that no-one else says they found the site through the alt.music.trance newsgroup...that's how I got here...someone must have posted it!
Anyway, the forums here are much more interesting than there...I even unsubscribed 'cos it was getting so boring

From my roomate, ChronicPride as he's known here... I had noticed the tranceaddict url on a bunch of my Napster songs but I never thought to check it out until my roomate mentioned it....

I got introduced to this site off a search engine search - Google I think - but this was in Oct 0f 2000 - joined the forum then but forum got reorganized and didn't rejoin till Feb. - I go to university so I was away for the semester break

better sites? hmm but where can you find such an avid bulletin board. nothin' compares to having this kind of knowledge and information at your fingertips. hehe. i dunno, just felt like writing that down cause i've been to plenty of trance sites but this is the mainly the only place that you can get a heap of info very quickly.

I know the site since june 2000, and logged in immediately when I saw the new forums! I rareley posted a mssg, but now I do it more frequently, probably because there are more users, who reply faster, and more interesting topics. Well I think I'm one of the only ones that has been registered since august!

I usually download from www.shadowzone.com, but they are currently upgrading their site or something, so I did the boring old www searches, and got a link on one of those sites to tranceaddict. I'm impressed, although I must say the huge files and the crappy speed we get in South Africa sometimes can be a problem. I LOVE the videos too. It is the first time I've used anything like MyPlay and it helps a lot, because it takes days to download a file and the streaming audio bit helps too. Pity I can't do the same with the videos...

Yeah, I'm telling people about tranceaddict, so if they don't just leech from me, they'll propably come visit here too...

i was cruising around on Efnet looking for more good techno/trance mp3 channels (#mp3-techno on irc.newnet.net was the only awesome one i knew).. i found my way into a channel called #trance or something and as the channel topic it had "www.trancevalley.com/www.tranceaddict.com" so i checked em out and now im here downloading pretty much everything thats put out...

im tellin you.. THIS SITE BEATS NAPSTER AND IRC PUT TOGETHER!!!!
