Yeah, Lisa Gerrard. She actually played/sung in Bris a couple of weeks ago. We wanted to go, but never made it. Possibly a good thing, as the tix were $80 and apparently there were some fairly sizable fuck-ups (technical) in the performance.

Still though, she's such an amazing vocalist. A lot of her stuff reminds me of Elizabeth Frazer (or vise versa )

so anyways, from that point forth, I added goths to my list of people to stereotype for the rest of my life

I'd probably label them that I guess, gothic fashion is more about emphasis on beauty of the clothing regardless of body type, it's meant to stick out in an anti-fashion by it's mere contrast to the mainstream. Unlike emo dress style which is non conformance by appearing as anti-fashion punk in a thrifty store kind of way, I wouldn't say 'unattractive' but isn't meant to stick out.
Most well heeled goths also wouldn't be seen dead (pun intended ) in any old ex-surplus store trenchcoat

She sang one One Perfect Sunrise with Orbital as well. Absolutely stunning record, vocals are something else.
