No but seriously you'll be fine, our court system is perfect and if I recall correctly no one has ever been wrongly convicted so you're golden .

The thing with the UCMJ is your guilty untill proven innocent, makes things a bit more complicated.

Everyone around me is cracking pedo jokes. We were talking about orders and a barracks order is you cant have anyone under the age of 18 in the barracks. Talking about they changed that or whatever. i don't know the rules of the military but in the corporate world you can get in trouble putting anything up that could be seen as offensive. most likely you'd get a warning first and if you didn't comply or had a history then you could get fired.

i just think you've gotten used to the cor where you can do almost anything with impunity. online doesn't = real life

well....technically speaking, since there was a red flag or whatever, they had reason to search that specific computer. so they were , technically speaking, doing their job.

it is kinda sucky that it was THAT picture that is getting you trouble.

on the other hand, I feel like an ass saying this, but....you kinda should have known better than to look at TA on a gov't computer that can be traced back to you specifically. And really, I tell our airmen the same thing when they're browsing around on random sites at work. you never know what's going to pop up and if there's a flag or something, you're kinda fucked.

I do hope this blows over, and you just get an LOC or whatever and take this whole catastrophy as a lesson learned.

When i was @ ISU, living in the dorms, we had 3 people busted on child porn (real charges, not this crap) because even the university had their computers on their .edu server or whatever.

ultimately, if you are on any kind of institutional grounds or like a .edu or .mil server (or whatever it's called) you are obligated to have your stuff searched.
