I have no idea about a boy's name. Maybe Christopher with another spelling.

We cant agree on what will be their last name, I never took his last name when we got married and I would really like to give the males my last name and the females his last name. I have a long Polish last name and I want that carried on b/c I dont think there are too many of that surname.

I suggested hyphenating their names, but then my kids will have a 17 letter last name. I truly believe that the kids should get one name from the mother and one name from the father, but it would make their life very difficult. After all I couldnt spell my last name until the end of 2nd grade.

I do not want to do the traditional take the father's last name. I am done with the whole patriarchal society. It is so unfair that women are the ones that should give up their names.

In my case choosing a last name is going to be more difficult than a first name.

My polish surname is uncommon too, but I want it to die with me

if i ever have a boy i'll name him 'peter malcom' after my dad. if i had another girl i would be tempted to name her "anouk" or "clementine" but i'm not completely sold on those, they might come back to bite me in the ass.

Mine would be isabelle or nafertini for girl.

My boy is names after me in a way: Lazaro Spallanzani (had a dear great uncle named that....) some sort of a decendent from the Italian biologist....so I just added the Spallanzani to his name....

not sure if i'll have any of my own through the natural birth process (i see myself adopting at a later age), but if i do, i'd go with these names...

girl - Lillian Catherine
(great grandma = Lillian)
(mother = Catherine)

boy - Benjamin

i just like the name Ben for some reason. Can't really think of any other boy names that I like. I suppose if I did some research, I'd find some other cool ones.

haven't we done this thread like 50 million times? lol

Boy: "Boy"

Girl: "Girl"

This way I don't get them confused. I'd call out - Girl, ready for school? Boy, did you wipe your ass and brush your teeth this morning?

easy. simple. beautiful.
