It's very sad that people have to come in this thread and let others know how much they don't care about someone elses loss. Mike and Mystery, I know most of what you guys enjoy doing is stir up shit on this forum and at times it might be all in good fun, but its not fun nor funny when it deals with the death of another individual. I don't understand why you 2 can't just be adults in certain situations and simply just back off when something you are going to say is completely uncalled for.

They weren't trying to stir shit. They simply voiced their opinion that yes, it sucks that someone has died but they don't feel it's appropriate to offer condolences when they don't know who it was and they don't know the person they're offering condolences for. That's all.

It got blown out of hand and into shit-stirring when everybody insisted on calling them out as inconsiderate assholes that should burn in hell. If you would've ignored them then this thread wouldn't have gone "downhill."

anyhoo, you don't have to personally know someone to offer an abstract expression of sympathy or a polite condolence.

That's sucks , having known a few people recently who lost someone close I can imagine how he is right now.

How many times have you seen people give condolences to someone they don't know? Many - Freenode Lilo dying for example.

How many times in a conversation have you heard something like "oh yeah so and so's mother/father/ect passed away the other day and you reply by "sorry for their loss?" Probably once.

This is no diffrent here. Have a little respect and heart for Ferry because he is probably going through a tough time. And if you really want to rant on how it's insignificant and shit, you sir, have a cold heart.
