This is a VICIOUS poll... I took friendship, but honestly I really don't know what I would choose... both options have their horrible pitfalls, but I had to go with the reasoning that you could always lose your gf, but your friends will be there for you.

love can be painful but you can find another love and build it in less time.friendship grow up year by year.i know my best friend since i was 12 (now i am nearly 22) and we didnt become best friend istantly,maybe because you don't stay with your friend all day or phone him/her everyday as you do when you have a gf/bf.
so i think love is a litlle less stronger because you built it in less time,but it is more ivolving.friendshp is strong because you build it quietly.

anyway i prefer friendship....(for now).
the best would be building a love day by day and not say:"i love her" after 2-3 days.

Difficult decision b/c both can be a real pain in the ass sometimes. But overall I think love is the best. Everyone can find many friendships but love is difficult to find.

I find it kinda tough to choose in this particular case, especially with the "no lover being your best friend" restriction, which is kinda unfair since your lover should be technically your best friend of the opposite sex :P I mean imagine this: If your wife is not your best friend, then you will feel weird if you have to talk to another woman about more intimate things and keep things from your wife :P How screwy is that??

Edit: After remmebering the saying "friends come and go, but love is forever" I'm going to have to vote for love :P We spend our lives looking for it, and once it comes it's not something you wanna let go. If you have to choose, then that means you're in love with the wrong person, so smarten up and don't make that mistake in the first place hehe
