Just to answer Verns' question, I like minimal in the club because to me its the easiest to dance to, also there is always an amazing vibe to the crowd/club.
why i like minimal.

you know vern, when people ask me what music i listen to , i tell them particular genres like prog, house, minimal, etc etc.. those who are into music and perhaps have been in my car and listened to various m_nus crew sets, or loco dice, etc, have asked me on numerous occasions why i like this type of music bc it just seems so boring to them. and then i started thinking about it. and most of the time, i just really cant think of an answer.. and i usually say "you know what, i dont know how i can like this music either, it sounds terrible, right?!" and then i just tell them it's an acquired taste. like espresso or some such thing.

. IMO a lot of this stuff requires the listener to make sense of it, which is no easy task. Most of us have been listening to electronic music for at least 10 years.

its like with olives or other delicatesses, i never knew kids that appreciates such stuff. but however over the years the taste developes more mature... or with some ppl it just always stays the same

u gotta be a real good and talented dj to be able to spin an entire set on minimal and keep the buzz high. respect to those who can pull it off.
