Also, that civilisation kinda collapsed in a heap of debauchery (which is a commendable way to go I guess).

Anyway, there is no actual proof that ancient greeks were homosexual. Plato talked about Eros (love). A bunch of English researchers thought that he was talking about love for other men. That's not the case. Plato was talking about Love of the Idea, which was the basic principle of his philosophy. I've not heard anything about pedophilia though.
