I don't think I've heard of liquid E, you mean G or E? Is it something new, and is there a lot of it around Montreal? Just curious

hehehe, K, that's what I thought, but there's always a chance of something new being out there so figure I might as well ask

Woof!! What a night-morning. This rivaled Ferry only longer.
I can still hear a faint ringing in my ears.
Discojoe and I, along with Czaoth and his gf showed up around 4am.
I talked to Dimitri briefly, and he did mention to wait in the line-up. Not bad 5 mins. We get in, pumped as ever, and headed toward the main room. Found a good spot in front of the Trance God and danced the morning away. Before he began, I was speechless, during his set I was speechless, and on the ride back I was speechless. That was simply the best Trance set I've heard, on the comp or live (sweeter).
Every song I felt, every beat and melody rattled my inner being. It was simply crazy. I've been playing AvB non-stop since Saturday in order to recapture the essence of ARIA at that particular moment in time. I kept looking at my watch around 8am thinking it was almost over...I only wanted time to stand still. I was glad to see Armin go over my 10-15mins. I simply did not want to leave.
It was definitely a treat to put a face to some of the TA names:
DJ Happy, Rnakr, Spoutnick (t'avais pas l'air dans ton assiette), although I was right beside you during your 5-6 mins light show.
Thanks Biggy for an unforgettable evening. Lots of room, not too hot. I enjoyed the screens above the DJ booth, nice touch (I don't believe they were there for Corsten).
Trance is the worst drug of'em all.
I look forward to some of the pics. Malek, pull a rabbit out of a hat would you!!
TP
The pictures are almost done (85 in all), its a matter of finding a fast server now and not repeating the error made with Corsten's pictures(thousands of picture request on my poor DSL connection).
I have some of Sputnick's lights and DJ Happy baloon
So if anyone has something decent to suggest or offer... don't say tripod.ca, it sucks di*k

glad you had a good time happy. Nice to meet you. And Biggy it would be sweet if you could invest in some lasers.
Yes, but I don't want a laser right now.
If I put a laser in the club, people will be tired of it after 2 months.
I had one in March for Sander Kleinenberg night.
I will rent other laser in June and July.
Also, Trance is still not so popular in Montreal and that's why people leave early on trance night.
On last saturday with Derrick Carter, it was insane!
Aria closed at 12h00 and I can tell you at 8h00 - 9h00 there was alot of people in the club.
Armin Van Buuren is not so well known in Montreal, maybe PVD, Oakie or Tiesto yes but all the new up-comong trance dj's are not.
We have to work this out !!!
Also, you need to know the last friday was not easy for us , even with Armin at Aria. Because Sven Vath was at Sona and RaveMontreal 7 was sold-out with 1600 people. Even at Sona it was not so packed and the club is smaller than Aria.
i think it was just perfect the way it was.
yeah man it was perfect for us!
Ya but guys djs like armin van buuren dont come cheap.. im sure he cost at least $15000 (maybe im wrong but I dont think so i bet it was even more for a 4 hour set) Tickets were on average $25 a ticket and i really dont think there was over 1000 people in there (dance room anyway). Factor in all the security, bouncers, rent... The profit margin is really not what it seems. I really hope you do pack the place biggy because I honestly dont know how you could survive otherwise. And just out of curiosity who was working the lights?
aria has a hip hop room right? were is it cause i havent seen it
follow those cute girls and you'll find it
its upstairs close to the bathrooms.

Yo Trance Plant and Discojo and czaoth were you all in the front and one of you had a blue Split shirt(i have the same) 'cause i was the guy with the grey pants and black underworld t-shirt i was with my girl friend_red shirt) and was kind of away from the Ta's (a little shy), although i said hi to Dj Happy with his ballon! I saw mastercongo with his black Third Rail shirt too. Biggy your Trance nights are always amazing!
