The ironic part about long games is that it's a product of either good offense or bad pitching(which leads to good offense). People like the big offensive numbers but they hate the 3.5 hour game. If you want the runs you need to sacrifice the time. I personally like 1-0 games. I would rather see a dominant pitching performance than an offensive slugfest.

I'd rather see a 4-0 game in favor of my team every time.

despite having only 2 hours sleep, the CRAZY heat at the beginning of the game, and then that flash shower...awesome game tho with great friends...we had the BEST time EVARRRR!!!!~

it wasnt clippards best showing thats for sure.

definitely a LOT of trashtalking and yelling in our section...lets just say we DEFINITELY owned our section (eheh thanks to Jay who pretty lost his voice by the end of the game screaming his lungs out)

think i got sick from the weather and varying change in temperature/humidity though and from barely no sleep the night before sneezing like crazy now. ruined tonights plans

Oh Walid if I didn't already love you....EACH player has there OWN song that get played for them when they come up to bat OR come out the pitch, henace the reason "Enter Sandman" is played for MO when ever he enters a game.

genius

Posted by nerve on Jun-18-2007 14:22:

This is when the yankees always wake up atleast based on this team that hasn't won a recent WS. They've started off rough and then just start pumping out good games one after another.

Was an awesome game. Wang pitched a phenomenal game and they should have let him completed it. I'm a little pissed about that decision.

Its been nice watching the yankees go 9-1 on their home stand.

the only problem is that the whole basis of your opinion was wrong; the mets didn't shell him. rather, perez shut out the yankees

is that all you really want to nitpick about? geez. i already commented on it so whatever.

Posted by dj tek on Jun-18-2007 20:38:

sal was just sayin mets will probably take one out of 3 and most likely will be off of clemens.

good lord !

Posted by Vlad on Jun-18-2007 21:31:

lol... you people take this stuff WAY too seriously.

I love my Yankees but some of you are just nuts. *cough*steven*cough*

my bad...although there's nothing genius about calling for a series to go 1 out of 3; there are only four options for the series results. And the mets really looked like they woke up after the first win.
