sidewalks that arent the standard depressing grey variety. Travel the world and you will see how variable the sidewalk becomes. It really adds to the beauty of the streetscape and is something that is sorely missed in Toronto.

And interlocking stone doesnt count. Be creative and colourful.

As for the building... something that allows public access to the waterfront. Also id make open air cafes and restaurants along the water's edge with the condo tower set back from the water. A marina for the residents would be nice and a great selling point As for the tower itself, attention to detail would be nice. Perhaps a retro 1930's style concrete facade needs to make a comeback?

Also make sure there is sufficient underground PUBLIC parking

I know in Montreal it would be like that if something similar would be proposed. I don't think hippies in Toronto would differ in that aspect!

At least in Montreal, your mass transit is merely sub-standard, whereas "disaster" would be a more appropriate label for ours. We need a real-life hippie-busting Cartman.

hippies and NIMBYs are whats killing this city in the first place. The way i see it, by not accomodating to cars we actually create MORE pollution due to useless idling in traffic. But no one ever thinks of that!

When a spambot comes up, i can just go into an admin page and delete all posts by that bot with a simple click, if people quote the bots then when its posts are deleted, guess what? the ones in your quotes remain, which mean they are still clickable and still advertising the porn.

it also means i have to dredge through tons of posts looking for those quotes so i can remove them.
